Lily had texted telling me she was at my apartment so when the taxi pulled up she was waiting at the door of the apartment block she had my dog on her lead and they both came running over "someone missed you!" Lily said grinning at Pearl. She was jumping around and barking like mad I laughed "I missed her too! No! Careful of my leg dog!" I said in a gangster voice she just kept barking and jumping and Lily had to drag her into the apartment I followed them.

My apartment is on the first floor so I didn't have to limp too far I went in and looked around the familliar room I love this place I've made it my own with pictures dotted here and there and all my old guitars were hung up in frames on the wall to give it a more musicy look, there were quotes from some of my favourite songs in cursive writing on the walls too.

Pearl was attached to my shin she wanted my attention again I bent down as best I could and started to play fight with her she growled and bit me playfully, she then started licking me instead "I'm the one who's been feeding that damn dog for the last week and all she does is growl at me!" Lily complained plonking herself down on the couch infront of the TV.

"she just loves me are you not going home?" I said picking the dog up and joining her on the couch "nice to know i'm wanted here!" she hit me in the arm I smiled "you know what I mean I love having you here!" I said "nah I'm gonna go to the restaurant with you (A/N: yes I realised I was spelling restaurant wrong OOPS!) cause I have nothing better to do!".

Later when I walked into the restaurant Sam Butcher the owner of the restaurant and the closest thing I have to a dad he treats me like his daughter, came up and gave me a hug "Hey Al! We've missed you here!" I smiled "I missed you all too!" well not all of them...the other waitresses are horrible they're really slutty and bitchy and because I'm the only one who's not like them I get bullied? I guess you could call it that.

I looked up at Sam he was in his late forties to early fifties but he acts like a little kid sometimes "hey can my friend perform with us tonight? We've been practicing all week and he's really good!" I asked knowing Sam would trust me that if I thought Micky was good then he really was good.

"of course! You do know it has to be a Christmas song right?" he asked "yeah I know I think I really like this guy Sam!" I said laughing a little I tell Sam everything I've known him since I moved here. I was lost when I got here he helped me get back on my feet.

"ooohhhh well I'm going to have to meet him before anything drastic happens missy!" he said giving me a fake stern look "yes sir" I said giving him an army salute. We were in the kitchen so I grabbed my crutches and limped out to the main dining area to look for Micky, some people greeted me and asked how I was feeling I recognised most of them, they were regulars here.

I saw him standing at the door with Dan and Greg looking a little lost, Dan and Greg didn't seem to have a clue what they were doing here I called to them and they looked over, saw me and started walking towards me I beckoned Micky towards the backstage area "see you later guys!" Micky said being dragged by me "Lily's around somewhere if you want to find her!" I called.

Backstage all the other waitresses were ready in their usual short dresses, the room went silent when we went in there "hey bitch how much you paying him to pretend to like you?" Abbie one of the bitchiest people I have ever met in my life said causing everyone but me and Micky to laugh.
