You are the music in me (Chapter 25)

this chapter sucks..i know but I  wanted to update!

It was Saturday and i was just back from the restaurant about to get in my pjs and watch x factor but when i got into my apartment i was greeted by Lily and Lexi sitting on my couch the TV already on and they were both in their pjs.

Things are okay with Lexi Dan doesn’t trust her but he’s talking to her again at least. I raised my eyebrows and put my bag down “just make yourselves at home in my apartment guys..” I said going into my room to change.

“will do! And we’re sleeping over tonight” Lily called in “great..” I mumbled after I changed I went out and joined them on the couch “any idea what they’re singing tonight?” I asked “Greg won’t tell me!” Lily said clearly annoyed by this.

The x factor started and we chatted now and then about the performances the boys were last and this week they definitely saved the best for last! They sang “tears in heaven” by Eric Clapton

But the second i recognised the song my eyes flooded with tears and Lily was by my side giving me a hug she knows why this song makes me cry it was my dad’s funeral song..Lexi was confused but she let Lily comfort me.

The song just brought back memories of the funeral...that day..the first day my mom drank too much and got violent. They finished singing and i calmed myself a bit Lily looked worried “are you okay?” she asked worriedly I nodded and sniffed “I think so” I said “they sang it amazingly” I added.

Lily smiled and nodded “they did” she agreed Lexi didn’t ask what was wrong she just handed me a tissue. The judges comments had been better than any week this week.

I tweeted them mainly because i didn’t have credit.

***The next day***

The girls and I decided to have a lazy day then watch x factor that day we just watched movies in our pyjamas all day and skyped with the boys who were very nervous about the results tonight.

Most Sundays the x factor ask all close family and friends to come to London just in case it is the person they’re supporting leaving so the boys told us they were spending most of today with their families.

After we’d watched at least 8 movies and eaten enough packets of popcorn to last us a year x factor was on again. Lily, Lexi and I sang along to the song all the contestants sang together “Beautiful day”

Then it was time for the results..James..Jahmene..Chris...Rylan...wait what?! They’re in the bottom two with Union J.. The girls and I looked at each other in shock. My heart broke at their faces it looked like they’d just given up and didn’t want to be there anymore. I bit my lip.

“So Lexi team Union J or team District3? You’ve kissed a member from both bands” Lily tried to lighten the mood “District3 anyday” Lexi answered easily

During the sing off they still had the look of giving up. Union J were quite good but as usual their vocals didn’t compare to District3’s. But the votes didn’t go their way with Louis’ refusal to vote. The girls and I stared at each other again. They’re out..

We were gutted for sure but i could see from Lily and Lexi’s looks they were just as proud of them as i was they did so well and made their fans proud that’s all that matters.
