In the snow

Wren's POV

I slowly woke up to see snow around me. I sat up and looked around, I grabbed whites handles and tried to turn her on but she wouldn't light up. I smiled and said. "Don't worry girl, you rest." Get out of white and tried contacting the others. "Guys? Shiro? Keith? Allura? Does anyone copy?" I asked but all I got was static, I sighed and looked around the planet. It was snow planet with a bunch of mountains around. I reached out to Shiro through our connection, I could feel him faintly but he was alive much like Genji.

"I need to get to higher ground. It looks like a village might be in the mountains." I jumped off white and summoned my wings flying away to find help. I searched the ground while I was flying when suddenly a arrow nearly hit me I dodged it in time but another one shot at my wings making me lose my balance. I fell through the trees, face first into the snow. I placed my chin on the ground and groaned, I got on my knees and brushed the snow off me. I looked around for who shot at me, as I looked my ears twitched and looked in front of me to see someone aiming their arrow at me.

I flew towards them fast and grabbed their arms, we fall into the snow and I glared at them. "Why did you shoot at me!?" The person under me looked scared and was shaking a little due to me pouncing on him. He had wolf ears, which was purple along with big blue eyes. "Are-are not here to attack my village?" He said scared as I looked at him confused, attack his village? "What? No, I crashed landed here and I was looking for help."

I stood up and offered my hand, he grabbed it and I helped him up. "So why we're trying to shoot me down?" "I thought you were one of them, I'm sorry." I smiled at him and placed a hand on his shoulder saying. "It's okay, you were just trying to help your people." He smiled and said. "I can take you to our village." "Do you have a communicator?" "Yes but it's very old." "Lead the way."

He made a this way gesture and started walking and I followed. As we walked, he looked at me and asked. "What are you exactly?" I looked at him with an eyebrow raised. "That's not polite." He started stammering and apologizing. "I-I'm sorry, I-I didn't mean to-." "I'm just teasing. I'm Wren stargazer, Queen of the Fays." He looked at me with stars in his eyes. "Oh wow! Your a Queen, that's amazing!" I chuckle at this and asked. "What's your name?" "I'm Melic, the chiefs son." "Nice to meet you Melic." "Nice to meet you too. So why did you crash?"

"You know Voltron? Well I'm the paladin of the white lion." "Oh wow! We've heard story's of Voltron as children but we always thought it was a myth." "It's very real. What's the name of your planet by the way?" "Oh, it's tryder." (Stupid name i know) we continued walking to the village. Melic suddenly stopped and looked around with his ears twitching.

"What is it?" I asked as his eyes slowly widened. "It's them." He grabbed my hand and started running away. I looked behind me and gasp at what I saw. Giant black monsters with sharp talons, I summon my wings and grabbed Melic flying away. I kept flying until I heard. "There's the village!"

I flew faster to the village and when we got there, I dropped Melic and turned around to face the monsters. I slammed my hands on the snow and summoned a shield, the creatures bump into the shield then fly away in fear. When I knew it was safe, I lowered the shield and panted. I stand up and looked at the Tryderens to see them looking at me shocked. An old man came out of yeh crowd whom I assumed was the chief stood in front of me with Melic.

"Who are you stranger?" "My name in Wren Stargazer, Queen of the planet Arcane and a paladin of Voltron." "I am chief Lagnik (again stupid name I know.) Our ancestors have spoke of Voltron ten thousand years ago but we have always thought it was children's story." I smiled and said. "Well, I'm the living proof of it. Voltron is back and we will stop the Garla. I promise." The chief smiled and said. "Your words move me your highness." "Are there any bases i should be worried about?"
