After eating at a small, local restaurant with Sasha, you both headed back to the house. You still had about 3 hours until the party started, so you decided to look at some job listings online. You wanted to apply for jobs that matched your degree, but you worried that you weren't going to find one that didn't require prior experience. You had a hard time with that in the past, since most jobs in your degree field required experience.

"How am I supposed to gain experience for these jobs without working in this field, which requires prior experience to gain experience," you quietly said to yourself, annoyed.

You finally found a couple of entry-level jobs in your field, that didn't require prior experience, so you quickly applied for them, sending your resume and a short and sweet cover letter. You sighed in relief and looked at the clock. You had 2 hours until the party started, so you decided to go ahead and get ready.

You decided that what you were currently wearing would work, but you spruced it up a bit by pulling at the loose part of the shirt on the bottom and tying it to your waist. It rode up a bit, exposing a sliver of your stomach, but you didn't care. You put on some makeup, opting for a sultry look and a peachy nude colored gloss. You curled your hair and ran your fingers through it to give a softer, more beach-wave look. You took one last glance at yourself in the mirror and liked what you saw, so you went back into your room and put on some black converse. You looked at the time and it was 8:00 on the dot.

Mikasa's house was only about 5 minutes away, so you weren't in too big of a rush to leave. You met Sasha in the living room, where she was wearing a white tank top tucked into her high-waisted light wash skinny jeans and white sandals, with a light blue and white plaid flannel shirt tied around her waist. Her brown hair was let down from her usual ponytail, straightened, with the left side of her hair pulled back into a clip with gems in it. She was wearing the same silver chained heart necklace from the other night at the club. She looked stunning.

"Ready?" She smiled.

"Yes, let's go." You smiled back at her, heading towards the kitchen to grab your simple, black crossbody purse and threw it on. She grabbed her large beige purse and put it over her shoulder, throwing some snacks from the pantry in her purse before turning towards the door that lead to the garage.

You both got in the car and headed towards Mikasa's house. Sasha decided that she wasn't going to drink much tonight so that she could drive home, since you drove home last time. You obliged, excited about being able to let loose.

You arrive to the house, located in a quiet neighborhood. There weren't many houses, but the ones that were here were spaced out significantly, making it more private. There weren't a whole lot of cars parked, which gave you the impression that this was more of an intimate gathering with a small friend group. You still felt a bit nervous, as the only people you knew here were Mikasa and Armin, but you had Sasha with you so that helped. You grabbed her hand, giving it a small squeeze. She knew this meant you were nervous. You were the introverted friend, while Sasha was outgoing and social. In times like this, you wished you could be more like her.

"It's gonna be okay, (Y/N), I'll stay with you the whole time."

This brought you back to your high school and college days, where any party you attended was with Sasha and you stuck by her side the entire time. You didn't want to be that friend anymore, so you decided that you were going to make more friends and socialize with Mikasa and Armin as well, allowing Sasha to flourish and make friends of her own.

"It's okay, Sash, enjoy yourself. I'll be okay, I should get to know Mikasa and Armin better anyways." Your nerves calmed a bit and you and Sasha finally reached the front door.
