*Lupe's POV*

I slowly woke up from my sleep and sat up on my bed. I rubbed my eyes so I could see better and saw it was dark outside.
"Thank god it's Saturday." I muttered.

I got out of bed and headed downstairs. I walked into the living room and saw that Grace, Matt, and the Jacks were all sprawled on the couches or on the floor. I sighed and walked into the kitchen. I grabbed a water bottle and went up to my room again.

I jumped on the bed and laid there, staring at the ceiling, thinking. Then, I was interrupted my door opening.
"Hey babe. How are you feeling?" Matt asked as he walked in and sat on my bed.

"The usual. Nothing new." I said as I shook my head.
"What's the usual?" He asked.
"Nothing. Forget about it." I said. We stayed in an awkward silence.
"How'd you get those cuts and bruises?" Matt asked, breaking the silence as he held my hands in his.

"Uhm, I uh tripped on a rock and fell. There were a few rocks which I fell on." I said, making up a lie.
"What about the ones on your arms, wrist, legs, and thighs? Grace checked you and saw a few bruises on your legs and thighs but she saw more than a few cuts in your thighs." He said, not believing my lie.

"That's none of your business." I said through gritted teeth.
"Babe-"
"Stop it! Don't call me babe. We're not going out and we sure don't love each other for you to be calling me babe." I spat, pulling my hands away from his. I stood up from my seat on my bed and walked towards my door.

"Hey, that's not true. We both know that's not true." Matt said as he walked after me.
"Leave me alone." I said as I kept walking towards the front door.
"No, no, no, no. Look at me. Please look at me." Matt said as he turned around.

"I do love you, Lupe. And you love me too. I know that because when we kiss, a firework show goes off in my stomach. It's more than just fireworks now. The way you look at me every time we hang out. Its all in your beautiful eyes. If you don't love me, then say it to me while looking me in the eyes." Matt said, with hurt in his eyes.

I stared at him for the longest time, then I walked out of the house, sat in my car and drove off to the beach.

*At the beach*

I got out of my car and walked towards my little hide out in the beach, an abandoned little house. Pretty soon I got there and sat down on the porch, looking at the beautiful ocean and stars.

The first time I came to the beach with the band, we found it. It's like our little hide out. Whenever one of us has to much to deal with or has a lot in their mind, we come here. It's where we find our peace within.

Since Luke and I like to swim to get our minds off of things, we brought a few extra clothes and bathing suits. But I wasn't going to swim tonight. I'll probably end up drowning in the water and my tears.

I then, felt drops of water on my hands. I looked around to see if it was raining or something, but nothing. I covered my face with my hands, it was then that I realized that I was the cause of those drops of water. They were my tears, I'm crying.

This time I didn't pull back. I just started sobbing. I started sobbing loudly, pulling at my hair, rocking back and forth.

"Hey hey hey, calm down. I'm right here. Shh, please stop pulling your hair like that. Don't hurt yourself more, please." someone pleaded as they wrapped their arms around me. I just sat on their lap and cried on their shoulder.

"What's wrong? The lads are worried sick, as am I." he said. I finally looked up and saw that it was Ashton.

"Ashton, I don't know what's wrong. Please try and help me, I think you'll understand more than anyone else." I whimpered.
