Twenty-Six

"We're here!!" I screamed.
"What, what, whAT!?" Grace asked, waking up from her nap.
"I said, 'WE'RE HERE'!" I yelled.
"STOP SCREAMING!" She said. I turned the engine off, jumped off of the car, got my suitcases, and ran towards the house.

I stopped right in front of the door, reached in my suitcase pocket to get the key, and opened the door. I got to the living room and then two furry things tackled me to the floor.
"Burnie!! Jaxx!! How've you been buddies?" I asked. They just licked my face, wiggling their tails.
"I missed you too baby." I cooed to them.

"You have dogs?" Grace asked as she walked into the house.
"No. This is Matt and Cameron's dogs. Burnie and Jaxx meet Grace, Grace meet Jaxx and Burnie." I said. Burnie and Jaxx took a glance at her and quickly ran towards her and jumped on her.
"Aw look, they love you already!" I laughed.

"They're soooo cute!! I love them!" She said as she started playing around with them. I got up and walked towards Grace and helped her up.
"Should we unpack?" I asked.
"Yeah, but which room is my room?" She asked, a bit confused.
"Oh about that, maybe you should put your stuff in my room for now. Because we have an extra room but it's so simple, so let's put your stuff in my room and we can go get paint right now to paint your room and tomorrow or someday this week we can go shopping with the guys for stuff that you want in your room." I explained.

"Sounds sweeeeet brooo. Okay so introduce me to your room young Hood." Grace said.
"If you shall, follow me young Hemmings." I said as I walked up the stairs and into my room.
"Dude you have a nice room." she said in awe as she entered my room. Us three, Grace, Burnie, and I, walked into my room and laid on my bed, in a comfortable silence.

"Let's go to the beach!" Grace suggested as she jumped up.
"Yeah! Let's go!" I said. We both got up and started to get ready. I got my black and white bikini and went to the restroom to change, then I went back to the room. I looked for a cover up.
"Let's wear those cover ups! The stripes ones that we bought last month!" Grace suggested.
"Ohhhh yes! I found it!" I said as I pulled it out and put it on.
"I found mine as well!" She said and put it on over her bikini.

"My bikini matches this and jsbsjanaakzd ITS SO CUTE!" I squealed.
"Same dude! Now let's pack extra clothes, towel, money, sunscreen, and all that shiz." Grace said.
"Okay!" I said and we started packing. Pretty soon we finished packing and we're heading out the door, until Burnie and Jaxx barked.

"Hey, we should take the dogs. They've been locked in for like a week or two." I suggested.
"Yeah! Let's bring them along!" Grace said.
"Okay, can you take my stuff car?" I asked.
"Sure." she said. I gave her my stuff and went back inside. I grabbed their leashes and put it on them. Soon we were out the door and heading to the beach.
