Thirty

Ashton's POV

I carried her in my arms as I walked in through the doors of our gigantic house.

"How is she?"
"Is everything okay?"
"Is she okay?"
"Where was she?"
"Did anything bad happen? Why are you crying?" We're most of the comments that I heard, once everyone saw that she was in my arms. But the last one made me look directly at Grace.

"What do you mean, crying?" I asked.
"Ashton, there's tears running down your cheeks and your eyes are puffy and red. What happened?" She asked, concern laced in her voice.

"I- Let me put her in her bed so she can rest, she needs it. Then I'm also going to sleep. Wake me up when she wakes up." I said as I walked up the stairs.

I trudged into her room and put her in her bed, and walked out, making my way towards my room. I laid in bed, made myself comfortable, and slept.

Lupe's POV

I slowly opened my eyes and adjusted to the light coming into my room. I then sat up and looked around.

"Morning babe. How are you?" Calum asked, sitting on the end of my bed. I sat there looking at him, for what felt like forever. Then, I attacked him in a hug.

"I love you." I whispered. He let out a big sigh and hugged me tighter.

"I love you too sweetie. Don't ever think otherwise. Even if I say shit to you because all that shit I say isn't true. You're the best daughter I could ever ask for. I'm sorry. I love you so fucking much." he said.

"I know, I'm sorry too. I overreacted. I know you don't mean all that shit you say, it's just, it was the first time we got into a huge argument and I thought you didn't want me anymore and I overreacted. I'm sorry." I said. We stayed in each other's arms and sat there for a little longer.

We soon pulled apart, he kissed my forehead, and stood up.
"Come on, let's go wake up Ashton. He told us to wake him up once you're awake." he said as he dragged me behind him and walked towards Ashton's room.

We walked into his room and shook him till he woke up.
"Mhm." he muttered as he stirred up.
"Ashy, wake up." I said as I poked his cheek.
"I'm up, I'm up. Did y'all make me breakfast?" He asked with a smirk on his face.

"Bitch, do I look like a damn slave to you? No, we didn't make you breakfast. That's why you have two arms and legs, now use them." I said, sass laced in my voice.

"Gosh, you two are the sassiest people I've ever met." Ash said as he stood up and chuckled. He walked towards where I was and hugged me.

"You okay kiddo?" He whispered.
"Yeah. Thank you so much again. I don't know what I'd do without you." I whispered and hugged him tighter.

"Lupe, I think that the boys and Grace need to know about this before anyone else. Probably Calum first then we should call the rest up and talk to them about it." Ashton suggested as we pulled apart from the hug.

"Know what?" Calum asked a bit confused.
"Dad, you might want to sit down." I said as I grabbed his hand and held it as we sat down and talked. Later on calling Luke, Michael, and Grace up to explain.

"Online school sounds much better than regular school." I said as I sat down on Grace's bed and relaxed.

"I know, especially after... You know let's not talk about it. We have to pack so we can go back on tour with the lads." Grace said as she started packing.

"It's been two weeks and I still haven't told Matt." I sighed out.
"You need to tell him, before we go back on tour. You can't leave without him not knowing, you know. He's the only one who doesn't know." Grace explained.

"I know. It's just- I'm scared." I admitted.
"Rejection?"
"Yup."
"Lupe, trust me. That boy loves you to death, there's no way he'll reject you. That night that you told him that stuff, he was heartbroken. He was crying nonstop on Carter and Nash. He thought he did something wrong." Grace said as she stopped packing and sat next to me.

"Ashton told me. Should I call him and invite him to come over?" I asked.
"Of course! Go outside on the pool and sit out there. I'll tell him you're out there waiting for him." she said, helping me out.

"Okay, I'll go. See you in a bit." I said as I got up and walked out of her room. Suddenly the doorbell rung. I got my phone out, dialed Matt, and walked over to open the door.

I opened the door and stood there, staring at him. I ended the call and invited him in.
"I was just about to call you so we could talk." I explained as I walked towards the back door.

"Actually that's why I came over. We haven't been on good terms theses last few weeks and it bothered me. I had to talk to you. I miss you." he admitted as we sat at the edge of the pool.

"I miss you too. What I said that last time we talked wasn't true. I truly do love you. I need you in my life." I explained.

"Then why did you say that stuff?"

"I was going through a rough time. Those bruises and scars, they were caused by bullies. Some were caused by me. I was having trouble expressing myself and I thought that if I kept things to myself it'd be the best thing to do. I thought you guys don't care about me and that I should just handle all this shit by myself. When you tried to help me, I panicked. I didn't want anyone to find out, but I figured it was late. I went to the beach and Ashton found me there, crying. He helped me through this. He understood me and helped me as much as he could and it worked." I explained.

I turned around to look at him and he just stared at me. Studying me. He then hugged me real tight. I hugged him back and admired the moment we were in. He truly did care about me.

"I love you. Please, don't ever think that we don't care about you, especially me. I fucking love you. So damn much. When you told me that stuff, I thought I did something wrong and couldn't handle it. I thought I lost you. You just needed someone. I'm so sorry I didn't notice earlier. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me." he said as he pulled away and started kissing my cheeks and forehead.

He then stopped and stared at my lips. I bit my lip and looked at him. He looked up at my eyes and we had a mini staring contest. He then blinked.

"I won." I whispered. He suddenly pressed his lips against mine. His lips felt so soft against mine, which were chapped as fuck.

Our lips were moving in sync. His hands on my hips while my hands were at the back of his neck. He was bitting on my bottom lip as I tugged on his hair.

"Hey! Get your long fingered hands off of her Bagel boy!! Hey I mean it! No PDA!! I'M TOO YOUNG FOR THAT GOSH GET A ROOM YOU TWO!!" Grace yelled from her bedroom window. We both pulled away and rested our heads on each other's head as we laughed.

I looked up at her and saw that there was a smirk on her face, as she held a phone towards us. I flipped her off and smirked up at her.
"Oh by the way, Calum saw all of that and so did I." Grace yelled down at me.

"Are you fucking serious!?" I yelled up at her as I got up.
"No I'm just kidding! It's Nash and Mahogany. They're freaking out like little fangirls." Grace laughed. I sighed and stood there.

Matt stood up next to me and held my hand. He turned me around so I was looking at him.
"I need to ask you something." he said as he played around with my hands.

"What shall your question be?" I asked as I looked up at him.
"Would you, maybe want to be my girlfriend?" He asked, looking nervous as hell.

"Yes." I said after looking at him for five entire minutes. He looked me in the eyes and smiled from ear to ear. Which later turned into an evil smile. I tried to escape, but I knew it was too late when he grabbed my waist and pushed me into the water with him.

We surfaced to the top of the pool to catch a quick breathe, before I grabbed his shirt and pulled him down into the water with me. I looked at him from under the water and that was when we kissed. Under the water. Our first underwater kiss.
