Adopted by 5 Seconds of Summer

I was sitting in my room in the orphanage, looking outside my window. I never talked to the people here. They treat me really bad. They say stuff about me behind my back. Just like they did in school. No one ever liked me, except for my parents. But they are not here anymore. I wish they were. Stupid drunk driver that had to crash into my parents car. I hate him. He ruined my life. He destroyed everything. I lost everything because of him. My parents, friends (well the only one I had), everything. I was thinking about a bunch more stuff when I noticed a car parked outside. Out came 4 lads. 2 were blonde, one was brunette and the last one had like purplish and black hair. I guess they came here to adopt a lucky child. Hooray!

"I need all the girls from ages 8-14 to come downstairs, immediately!" Sasha, the owner of the orphanage said. Don't let them pick me, I thought. I really don't want a new family. What if they abuse me? What if they bring me back? What if they just throw me out? I was thinking of the worst. I went downstairs and saw the 4 lads. I got in line with the rest of the girls. We were all facing them. They looked at every single one of us. After about 5 minutes of them looking at us the brunette one walked over to me.

"Hey! What's your name sweetie?" He asked. He was so energetic, I could tell already.

"Hi. M-my n-na-name is Guadalupe." I said nervously.

"Hey Guadalupe! My name is Calum. How old are you?" He asked.

"I-I'm 13." I said.

"Sweet! Wait a sec." He told me.

"Okay." I said then he went back to his mates. They were talking. Like if they were trying to agree on something. Then one of the blondes started to walk towards me. He had blue eyes. I didn't notice that.

"Hiya, Guadalupe! I'm Luke. How's it been sweetie?" He asked me. He had a lip piercing. I liked it.

"Hi Luke. Uhm it's been great. How about you?" I asked him.

"It's been awesome!" He said.

"That's nice. Are you and that other blonde brothers?" I asked him. He laughed and shook his head.

"Nope. He is my mate. Does he really look like me?" He asked.

"Totally!" I said.

"Haha! Let me introduce you to the rest. Hey lads! Come here!" Luke said. Then the other two guys and Calum came over here. I waved at Calum and he waved back with a smile on his face.

"Hey guys! I'm Guadalupe." I said to them.

"Hiiii! My name is Michael!" The one with purple hair, Michael, said. I smiled and waved at him. He did the same thing.

"Hi!! I'm Ashton. By the way I am NOT related to Luke!" He said with a huge smile on his face. I laughed really loud. I covered my mouth once I realized how loud I was. I noticed the guys smiling when I laughed.

"Okay, wait a second. We'll be back. We're going to do something really fast." Calum said. The lads left and were agreeing on stuff. They finally came to an agreement and went in Sasha's office. They seem really cool. I think I want to be their adopted child. 10 minutes later they came out.

"Everyone can leave, thank you. Guadalupe stay." Michael said.

"WE ARE ADOPTING YOU!" Ashton screamed.

"HOLY CHEETOS! Are you for reals!? THANKS YOU UNICORNS!" I screamed and hugged them.

"Alright, go pack your things kiddo." Michael said. I quickly ran to my room and grabbed my backpack. I put everything in my backpack, it's not like I have a lot of clothes. I ran downstairs and I was jumping up and down because I was soo happy!

"You ready kiddo?" Michael asked.

"Ready as I'll ever be... Wait where are you guys from? You lads have a different accent." I said.

"Oh we are from Australia." Calum said.

"Then what are you guys doing in America?" I asked.

"We are on tour. Did you know we were a band?" Luke asked.

"No...not at all." I said slowly.

"Well Lupe, you are going to have the best experience of your life. So get ready cause we are going to be traveling a lot." Ashton said. Wait, what? What have I got myself into. Since this day, I've known I am going to have the best life ever. Plus, that I was that lucky child.
