Where they ignoring him...?
No they couldn't be. They wouldn't be able to hold it up for this long. No way. But then what was going on?

It had all started when he had woken up one day after a fight with some hero's. He couldn't remember when he had gotten home but he had to of otherwise he wouldn't be in his bed right now.

He first noticed a tension. A horrible burning tension and sombre mood that was clear upon everyone's faces.

Dabi tried to ask what was wrong, but they all seemed to completely ignore him. He thought maybe the fight with some hero's went wrong or a different way then planned.

Maybe someone not many people knew about had died. Maybe a hero they liked. One of the few good one out there. Maybe it was just a sad day. He didn't know.

After the first week he knew something was up. Everyone, was ignoring him. Like he didn't exist. Like he'd done something absolutely awful and was being punished.

He didn't like it. It felt lonely.

Even Toga, was in that sombre mood and completely ignoring him.

She would come into his room but act like he wasn't there. She would lie down on his bed and take his hoodies to wear.

He didn't mind. But she ignored him.

Had he done something wrong? Was he being punished? Did he need to figure out what he'd done and have to find out what it was before they'd even think about speaking to him?

That was cruel if it was the truth. That wasn't fair, in the slightest! He wished he knew what he'd done so they would give him attention.

He had even tried to talk to Compress, who normally would give him enough attention for a day but he just sat, reading his book for the entire day before residing to his room.

After the second week he was worried. He had heard crying from rooms and he'd gone, every single time to check on them. Always asked if they were ok. If they needed a hug.

They continued to completely ignore him.

Now he was feeling the mood start to shift. Everyone was on edge, jumpy scared. They would watch his door when he was already out in the main room trying to conversante with them to no avail.

Was this some kind of prank? They would completely ignore him until he lost it and broke down? That wasn't fair.

Weren't they meant to be a team? Stick together through everything?

He'd followed that pact even when they'd yelled at him or upset him. Why were they ignoring him now?

By the third week a lot of yelling was going on. He would sit in his room as Tomura yelled at the others when he lost his temper.

It made him incredibly nervous... they knew that. So why didn't they care? Why did no one come to check he was alright?

He always went to check on them...

Maybe he was just selfish for wanting that in return when nobody asked him to care.

Maybe he was just being rude. Maybe he needed to be quiet and suck it up.

That might've been right.

After the fourth week he was struggling. He had already caved and started begging to be told what he'd done wrong. He had sat in his room and sobbed for hours when no one answered.

He had even tried to call them and text them so they didn't have to face him if it was that serious. Non went through.

He hadn't been eating properly either. They no longer made meals for him or even bothered to help. It was like he had never existed.

He struggled with cooking since he never had the energy and they had always helped him out with it so he found it hard when they all stopped helping him.

He guessed he did deserve it. If it was that severe that he was being ignored then he had to deserve it.

He felt alone. No one was answering and even when he banged his head on the wall out of boredom or anxiety about what he had done no one even batted an eye.

He felt like he had never existed.

On the fifth week he managed to remember what had happened when the hero's had attacked.

He had died.

He remembered throwing a wall of flames toward a hero and then...

His memories cuts to him standing over his dead body.

Was this... what being dead felt like?
