Sight For Sore Eyes

Tony stares the place he last saw the sorcerer, a sinking feeling he only gets whenever the sophisticated man is around. The brunette sighs, his eyes closing as he takes a composing sigh. He never thought he'd see the man again, had lost contact after he had pushed him away after that freak accident. But seeing him in front of him, proud and confident, Stark finds himself wondering what happened.

And how he became the sorcerer supreme. He's still as handsome as ever, if only there's a story behind his eyes and a sort of mystery that makes him seem aloof.

It's whatever though. Clearly he doesn't remember what they had, and hey? Could you blame him? Tony was a mess back then, long nights filled with sex and booze. Stephen never being home for long, always off saving somebody's life.

"Friday, do a background on Stephen Strange. I want you to find everything about him."

"Isn't that a breech of privacy, boss?"

Tony shrugs. "You're right. Don't go digging into personal personal stuff, instead try and find out how he became sorcerer supreme."

"Him and I have a lot to catch up on." He speaks before pressing a button on the elevator.

Peter will be here soon for their Lego making session and just to hang out, and he doesn't want to keep the boy waiting.

The minute the elevator doors open, Tony has himself an armful of his spider-child and he can't help the chuckle that escapes. "Mr. Stark, you would never believe what happened today!" Peter starts when he detaches himself from his favourite person. "How about you tell me when you've settled down, hm? Then you can tell me what happened."

"Oh, uh, okay, Mr Stark." Tony smiles fondly.

He'll do anything for his kid.

Anything.

"Sir!" A man calls, his back straightening out. "We have new Intel on our subject. He's located in Queens. However he goes over to Stark Tower on the weekends."

His smile twists into an ugly smile.

"Perfect."
