Y/n POV~
Tricia was still staring at me. None of us averted our eyes.
Aba ayaw mag palamang. Kahit sa pagtitigan ang competitive.
"Yeah, we get it. Nag loloving loving kayo, but the point is need pa bang sa harap namin?" Jillian said, habang nagpipigil ng tawa.
I pushed Tricia's face away from me sa sobrang gulat ko. When I turned to face the doorway, I saw Ate Aika and Jillian standing there, chuckling.
"Hoy Patring, akala ko ba sabay sabay tayo aangat sa pamilyang ito bat parang nangunguna ka na?" pang aasar ni ate Aika sa amin.
Biglang tumayo si Tricia at bumalik sa swivel chair niya na nakasimangot kaya lalong tumawa sila ate Aika and Jillian.
I just sat there and watched them tease and laugh at each other. I just smiled at them because I know nothing has changed; they are still the same as they were back then.
Maya maya tumabi na sa akin sila ate Aika and Jillian sa couch ni Tricia. Eto naman si Tricia asar na asar parin.
"Y/n, uuwi ka pa raw ba tanong ni mama?" Ate Aika asked me.
"Dito ka nalang po matulog!" Jillian said, tuwang tuwa pa siya. "Tabi kayo ni ate Pat!" dagdag ni Jillian.
"Uuwi narin po ako mamaya, susunduin nalang daw po ako ng friend ko." I replied to ate Aika. "And Jillian, I know you're busy na with your mom's campaign kaya hindi muna ako makikidagdag sainyo dito." I said to Jillian.
Alex did not tell me he would pick me up, so I lied. That guy is incapable of driving.
They were frowning because they were disappointed by what I said ata. Maski si Tricia naka simangot.
Gusto ba nila ako matulog here? Gusto ba ako katabi ni Tricia?
Ate Aika asked me again, "Will your friend pick you up here?"
"Yes po," I replied to ate Aika's question, "but nagsabi na agad ako na sa 7/11 nalang ako sunduin, may nakita naman ako na malapit here sa condo niyo." dagdag ko.
I lied again; I was aware of the distance but didn't want to bother them nga kasi.
"Uh..? ate y/n, the 7/11 here is 2 miles away po, hindi siya malapit." Jillian asked, confused.
Shocks. Buking agad ako.
Tricia narrowed her eyes as she glanced at me. She's well aware na that I'm lying. However, I simply avoid her gaze.
I answered, still nervous, "I could use some exercise..?"
"Y/n, it's about 30 to 40 minutes away from here; if you think you're troubling us, you aren't. " ate Aika assured me.
"Really, ate Aika, it's fine; I can run naman po papunt-" I said, but Tricia stopped me.
Tricia frowned as she said, "You're staying here, end of the discussion."
Tricia suddenly spoke, leaving ate Aika and Jillian speechless.
"Let's get out of here, Jill, away ng walang label 'to." ate Aika whispered as she dragged Jillian out the room.
"Tri, I don't want to disturb you nga. You still have a campaigns pa diba. " I answer her.
"Then maybe you can join us sa pag campaign," Tricia suggested. "y/n, join us."
