She strolled out, phone in hand, and sought a quiet balcony.
"What do you want Owen?" In a bitterly cold tone, she inquired.
"Judith! You answered the phone!" On the other end of the telephone, an astonished and relieved voice came through.
"I am very busy; state your reason for calling and be off."
"I'd like to see you, Judith. Let's talk things out. I'm not going to be able to go on without you." He pleaded with her fervently, but his words fell on deaf ears. The only thing on her mind was her father and his health.
"You think you can just barge in and hash things out after dumping me over text while my father was fighting for his life in a hospital room?" In an aggressive tone, she scoffed.
"I had no idea Mr. Callahan had a stroke! I had no idea what a total mess you were in!"
"Look, Owen, I'm sorry, but I don't have time for this-"
"Judith, please! My excuses, no matter what I say, will not justify my actions. I was wrong, and I acted wrong. Please, though, give me another chance. Please give us another chance. I want to be there for you through it all. Please let me redeem myself. Let me earn my apology." He pleaded desperately, and Judith's fist clenched. She closed her eyes and exhaled slowly, calming herself.
"I gotta go now."
"I understand, but please think about this. I loved you, I-I love you." In the end, his voice quivered, and she hung up the phone. Judith sighed as she leaned against the wall, her eyes closed. She exhaled and inhaled, gathering her thoughts before walking out of the small balcony and towards the room her father was in.
Judith was like an umbrella over her father, feeding him, taking him to physical therapy, tending to his every need, and ensuring that he recovered to his former self over the next few days.
Fabian's eyes welled up with tears every time he realized how much his little girl had grown up. It felt like yesterday when he took her to school, her tiny hand clutching his pinkie. She was all grown up now, taking care of him the way he used to take care of her.
"I think you should go home right now," Fabian suggested as Judith placed the bowl of soup on the side table.
"No, what if anything happens while I'm gone?" she said as she turned to face him.
"I'm feeling much better now, little dove. Aside from that, I'm in a hospital. There are doctors here who can revive me even if I stop breathing." Fabian chuckled, but he stopped when he noticed the shadow over Judith's face.
"Stop saying things like that!" She said sternly, and he chuckled,
"Go home, sweetheart. Get some sleep in the comfortable bed. I'm sure your body has had enough of that uncomfortable couch." With a warm smile, he said.
"But Dad-" Judith whined, but her father cut her off.
"No buts, go home, get yourself some good food, and good sleep. The food and the couch here are both awful."
"Okay, fair enough. However, please call me if you have any discomfort or need anything!" She sighed.
"I will. Now get yourself home safely and come to see me tomorrow morning." He said this while opening his arms for a hug. Judith succumbed to the warmth of her father's protective arms and went out of the hospital after they said their goodbyes.
She walked to the nearest subway station with a soft melody blasting in her earphones. As she waited for the train, she leaned against a pillar. Her phone beeped, indicating that she had received a text message. When she opened the message, she saw it was from Owen. He had been sending texts and calling her daily, as per his statements, to check in on her. Sometimes she would respond, sometimes she would ignore him. But at times like this, when she felt particularly empty and alone, she would respond to him. She texted him back and slid her phone into her pocket as the train arrived and she boarded it, standing by the metal door she waited for it to drop her off at her destination.
Drazhan's hand threw open the bedside table drawer, grabbing a condom, ripping the packet, and sliding it on his hardened member. While the fingers of his other hand savagely f*ucked the woman under his mighty body who was a whimpering and moaning mess. He yanked them out the instant he felt her clenching around his fingers. The woman whimpered and stared at him with her dissatisfied and annoyed eyes. She was about to complain but was shut down when Drazhan shoved the fingers coated in her juice in her mouth. His other hand stroked his manhood while she gauged sucking and tasting herself on his fingers.
He placed himself at her opening and entered her in a swift motion without delay. His huge member strained her, causing her back to arch in a mixture of pain and ecstasy.
He groaned as he began pounding into and out of her before her body could adjust to his length. As the pleasure overtook her body, her back arched, her luscious breasts touching his toned chest with every thrust, and her hands clutched the bedsheet for dear life. He pulled his fingers out of her mouth as his hand grabbed her hair and pulled her head back toward the bed. The sound of high-pitched moans and whimpers filled the room, and as though it bothered him, he let go of her hair and shoved his thumb in her mouth, quieting her moans.
He hammered into her while taking every ounce of pleasure her body could provide. He grabbed her right leg and lifted it up to his shoulder as he slid all the way into her and began pounding like there was no tomorrow. The woman was utterly at his mercy and all she could do was scream in response to the pleasure he was providing her. Her hand reached over his body, her fingers sliding gently over his toned muscles. He turned his head to her and yanked both her wrists away from his body, pinning them over her head.
He didn't make love to her, but he f*ucked her hard! As he aggressively pounded into her, the room was filled with sulking and moaning. He felt himself reaching his climax.
"C*um with me." In his deep raspy voice, he commanded and felt her wall tighten around his member. With a few more thrusts, he cried out as she reached her climax followed by a satisfied groan from him as they rode down their climaxes, and he pulled himself out of her.
His hand released her wrists and let go of her leg, as he moved down from the bed and walked into the bathroom. He cleaned himself up, walked out, pulled on his boxers, and grabbed a glass of scotch. He stood by the huge glass window overlooking the beautiful city, slowly sipping the liquor down to soothe his throat.
The woman got out of bed and walked behind him. Her hands slowly enveloped Drazhan from behind, and she placed her head on his muscular back with a satisfied happy smile.
"I love you, Drazh." She confessed in a low, innocent voice, and he just tipped his head back, glancing at her. He turned his sharp browns back towards the bright city and sipped his liquor.
Judith followed Fabian into the waiting taxi. She fastened his seat belt and drove them to their home, a two-bedroom modest apartment. Judith's childhood home, as well as the majority of their real estate, cars, and small companies they owned, were all sold.
Fabian sighed as he sat on the couch, and Judith entered his bedroom to place all of his belongings. She walked and informed while pulling her hair into a bun.
"I'm going out to get everything you need and, preferably, to find a cheap caretaker." Her father nodded as she grabbed her bag "And you should rest while I'm gone. Don't walk about greeting all the neighbors, all the dogs, and cats." He looked around and pointed at himself as she narrowed her eyes at him "Who me? Why would I do such a thing? Geez!" He scoffed, and she glared even more.
"I don't know, but you always seem to do that s*hit!" She walked to the door, "I had prepared some food and they are in the fridge, eat if you are hungry and call me if you need absolutely anything,"
"I will sweetheart. Now go and return as quickly as possible. In my loneliness, I'll be waiting for you." Fabian uttered the last part dramatically, and Judith chuckled.
"Goodbye, Dad." She walked out and softly shut the door behind her.
As the sound of Judith's footsteps receded, Fabian dashed to the door and peered out, slightly opening it. He walked out when he found no trace of Judith "Hello, Mrs. Beula! How is Henry doing?" He was ecstatic when he saw his neighbour close the door with her dog on a leash. As Fabian approached and petted the dog, he barked excitedly. "Lilou! How are you doing, bud?"
"Mr. Callahan! When did you return? How are you doing?" Mrs. Beula cheered seeing him as well. As practically all of the neighbours congregated in the corridor, the corridor quickly became filled with loud laughter, barking dogs, and meowing cats.
As she heard the loud voices heading out of the building, Judith sighed and shook her head, disappointed.
"That would be fantastic. Please contact me as soon as you find someone." Judith remarked gratefully into her phone as she walked down the street, her hands full with groceries. The caller hung up after informing her they will notify her, and she removed the phone from her ear. Someone bumped into her as she was slipping the phone into her pocket, and all her things fell to the ground.
"Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry. Allow me to assist you- " As he knelt to help her in gathering her belongings, the man apologized profusely.
"It's all right-," she responded, but she was shocked when she looked up and saw the man she had least expected to bump into staring at her, "Judith!" He breathed out.
"Owen!" Her eyes widened in astonishment.
That's how Judith ended up in the small cafe with the man who had ended a three-year relationship over a text message. Owen insisted on helping her and apologized profusely, practically begging her to take him back and give them a second chance. They were together for three years and shared some incredible memories. They did a lot of things together, and she loved him. He drove away after dropping her off at her apartment and begging her one final time that night to reconsider.
Judith tossed and turned in her bed as dozens of thoughts raced through her mind. Maybe she should give him another chance; she loved him, she saw a future with him, and he never mistreated her or cheated on her. They could get back together, she might find solace away from her work life, the burden of debt, and maybe she could forget about her father's health for a moment, and perhaps she would have a chance at happiness.
And with that thought, she walked into the fancy restaurant, dressed to the nines in a white dress. Her gaze was drawn to Owen, who sat at a table for two and was dressed neatly in a black shirt. As he checked his watch, he nervously ran his finger through his groomed hair. She was suddenly reminded of their first date, Owen had the same anxious nervous look about him he did that day. But only she couldn't recapture the excitement she felt three years ago.
She approached him, and he looked up, a handsome smile on his face, as he stood up and drew a chair for her. Owen was rather attractive, and she had a crush on him the moment they met in that London tavern. He was there on business, and she had just gone there to relax after a day of flying. They both felt an attraction and lust for each other, and they began dating the following week. She was reminded of everything as she sat down, from the day they first met to their first date and first kiss. But as she looked at the man in front of him, she was reminded of that smile, that spark she had seen in his brown eyes. Her breath caught in her throat as she was reminded of Drazhan.
They talked and caught up on one other's lives. Owen made her laugh like he used to, and before they knew it, the night was over and they were leaving the restaurant.
Judith gave Owen a sidelong glance as he drove her to her apartment. Her phone beeped in her hand, and she opened it to see a new email pop up on her screen. She scowled as she went through the mail, and Owen glanced at her, "Something wrong?" He asked, returning his gaze to the road. She sighed and put away the phone.
"They called me back." She noticed Owen's face drop somewhat as she replied, "When are you leaving?" He inquired, his voice gloomy.
"Tomorrow morning." She informed him, and he smiled as he looked at her.
"I'll drop you off at the airport," he suggested, and she refused.
"You don't have to-"
"No, I'd like to see you off before you leave." With a warm smile, he said, and she nodded.
Soon they arrived at Judith's apartment, Owen got out of the car and went around to open the door for her. He walked her to her apartment door, his hands tucked inside his pockets.
Judith turned around and softly opened the door lock. She knew what he wanted with just one look in each other's eyes. His lips were on her the next thing she knew. He kissed her as if he was famished for days and soon they pulled away.
"I missed you." He whispered as he kissed her on the forehead and pulled her in for a hug.
"Me too." She stated this while resting her head on his chest and feeling his smile as he caressed her head.
"I'll see you tomorrow then." He murmured this as he drew back from her embrace, one hand resting on her waist and the other tenderly caressing her cheek.
"Good night." He peeked her lips and let go of her waist, and she smiled.
"Good night." She entered the apartment quietly so as not to disturb her father and leaned against the door frame, shutting it behind her. She sighed as she stepped out of her heels and into her room. She sat down on her bed after changing into something more comfortable. It was exhausting, she couldn't feel the spark they had. She didn't feel the spark even when he kissed her so passionately, and it was scary when Drazhan's face popped up in her head and she wished it was him instead of Owen. She closed her eyes as she drew the duvet over her body and opened the mail again. They'd called her to their base, and she had a nasty feeling about it.
