"Wëllkomm, Papp." Gerbert stepped out of the car in the hotel foyer, Drazhan welcomed him with a polite bow. (Welcome, Father.)
"Gutt dech ze gesinn, Jong." Gerbert said as they hugged. (Good to see you, son,)
"Selwecht hei, Papp. Komm mir ginn dobannen." Drazhan led Gerbert to his penthouse at the top of the opulent building. (Same here, Father. Let's go inside.)
Drazhan and Gerbert sat down in Drazhan's office after some refreshments.
"Father, I went over everything regarding the company. And I don't think it's wise to invest such a significant sum of money there." Drazhan remarked this while clasping his hands on the top of the wooden table.
"It might not be, but I'm going to invest regardless. I would perhaps invest more in the future." Gerbert stated solemnly,
"Of course, you can, If the company survives that is."
"Anyhow, this is not why I came to see you." Gerbert began speaking as he rose from his chair. "You will accompany me to the meeting tomorrow. I can handle everything on my own, but you're going for another reason." When Gerbert glanced around, he noticed Drazhan frowning. "And that is?" Drazhan inquired.
"You will be meeting the daughter of one of my friends. I wish for you to date and marry her." Gerbert stated severely, and Drazhan stood up, pushing the chair behind him with anger. "I'm not going to do something like that! How dare you ask me to marry another girl!" Gerbert's eyes hardened as Drazhan growled in anger.
"Watch your tone boy!" Gerbert hissed but he calmed himself down and said again. "Because you're thirty years old and getting older by the day. I want you to settle down."
"I don't look a day older than 21!" He exclaimed, Gerbert looked at Drazhan with frigid eyes, and Drazhan looked down.
"You can't stay alone forever, and that's something I don't want for you." Gerbert calmly said,
"I'm not alone, I have a girlfriend!"
"You call that woman your girlfriend? As far as I'm aware, you solely use her for your s*exual pleasure. That is fine with me as long as the woman is willing to let you, but that is not the point. You're meeting Fabian's daughter, and if she agrees, the two of you will marry!"
"I'm not going to marry her!" Drazhan pleaded desperately, and Gerbert narrowed his eyes. "You don't even know her!"
"I-I can't marry her, Father! You think I can be happy if I ever find the one after marriage?" Gerbert sighed as Drazhan inquired.
"If she existed, you would have found her." Gerbert felt horrible the moment he watched Drazhan's face flare up with pain. He moved in front of Drazhan with long strides and placed his hand on Drazhan's shoulder.
"I didn't intend to say it in that way. Look, son, you looked everywhere for her for years and couldn't find her. And it hurt me to see you grow through that kind of agony. Please meet the girl I've chosen for you; if you don't like her, I won't force you into the marriage." Drazhan nodded in response to his father's words and Gerbert smiled. "I'm going to get some rest now. See you in the morning." Gerbert walked away after encouragingly patting him on the shoulder.
The morning came before Drazhan knew it, and after a quick shower, he dressed in one of his finest suits. Even if he isn't very interested, he should dress in a way that will leave an imprint on the girls' minds. After breakfast Gerbert and Drazhan got into their and car were on their way to AEM Holdings.
Drazhan and Gerbert entered the building, accompanied by Gerbert's secretary Hannah. They exited the elevator on the top floor and headed down the hallway to the CEO's office. Drazhan's phone rang, and he took it out to see Lilian's name flash across the screen.
"Excuse me, Father." Gerbert nodded at him as he took the call and paused to speak while his father and Hannah neared the office room.
"Yes, Lilian?"
"What the f*uck is she doing here?" Drazhan hissed, his face curved with fury.
Drazhan groaned and proceeded towards the office, saying, "I'm out on business, tell her that, and also tell her not to call and disturb me."
Gerbert entered the office, and Hannah came to a halt outside the door. Drazhan said as he approached the door. "Yeah, prepare those files and I'll be departing tonight," He hung up the phone and walked in through the wooden door. His eyes widened and his mouth slightly dropped, when he saw her smiling face. His gaze darted over her figure, which was dressed in a white suit and black shirt, with her hair down in a half-updo and his breath slightly hitched. 'How does she manage to look so edible in everything!' Was the thought running across his mind.
Judith's eyes widened when she noticed him, and he noticed her face turn bright crimson with rage.
"You!" They both spoke in unison, but her voice was filled with anger and his was filled with astonishment.
Gerbert and Fabian looked at them in confusion,
"You guys know each other?" Fabian and Gerbert asked in unison, staring at each other with puzzled expressions. Drazhan entered, closing the door behind him
"Yes, Sir. We have met each other." Judith clenched her jaw as Drazhan nonchalantly said with a small smirk on his lips.
"I suppose you forgot everything about that day to say we met so casually."
"The ache is still there," Drazhan murmured as Judith gritted her teeth. They stared at each other, Gerbert coughed, and Drazhan turned to face his father and Fabian.
"For about two weeks, Captain Judith here piloted my jet." He informed them, and they all nodded.
"More like you forced me to fly your plane, you arrogant bastard!" Gerbert and Fabian's heads snapped towards her and their eyes widened as Judith exclaimed through gritted teeth. Gerbert was astounded by how nonchalantly she referred to his eldest as an arrogant bastard, and Fabian was mortified. While Drazhan stared at her with narrowed eyes.
Judith glared him down, forgetting about everyone else in the room; she was so outraged that she wished she could kick him in the nuts again and bruise his perfect little face. She admits that she had bad-mouthed him, but he went too far by disrespecting her father.
Rich laughter filled the room, "I knew you two would make an outstanding couple!" Judith's head snapped towards Gerbert as he spoke.
"Couple?" She inquired, and Drazhan nodded his head. "What is it that you're nodding your head for?" She snarled at him.
"With a feisty wife and an arrogant husband, I can only imagine how their children will turn out." Gerbert laughed and slapped Fabian on the shoulder, while Fabian nervously chuckled.
"See, Fabian, I told you we should get them married." Gerbert laughed and slapped Fabian on the shoulder, and Judith's head snapped to her father, who stiffened in his spot.
"Marriage? To a man w*hore like him?" Everyone's eyes widened as she exclaimed, pointing at Drazhan.
"I'd rather marry a log than marry him." She spat, and Drazhan exclaimed, "Ouch. That hurt."
"I have made up my mind, Father," Drazhan said as he stepped closer to where Judith stood. He smiled, and Judith's head snapped towards him, her eyes narrowed.
"I want to marry her. When will the wedding take place?" Judith sneered as Drazhan said this.
"This is a joke right?" Judith inquired, looking at Fabian, and everyone's eyes were drawn to him.
"You didn't tell her?" Gerbert inquired, and Fabian nervously laughed.
"Well no worries, now you know. Let's go on a date shall we, meng Léift? We also need to discuss about our wedding ceremony. Your dress, my tuxedo, and the decorations. But first, we must plan the engagement ceremony." Drazhan smirked as he stared down at her. (My love.)
"You-" When she felt her father's gaze on her, Judith stopped in her sentence. When she glanced at him, she saw despair in his eyes. Judith couldn't think of anything more to say.
"Shall we go, léift?" Drazhan questioned, smirking and motioning towards the door, and Judith began to walk, never looking away from her father. 'I'm going now for you,' Fabian could feel her say.
Drazhan whispered in her ear as they walked out of the office. "This is for the kick." Judith clenched her teeth as he winked with a triumph smirk. (Love)
"I think she is the one," Gerbert stated with a glint in his eye as he looked at the parting couple, and Fabian's gaze was drawn to him.
"You think she is the one for him?" With skepticism, he inquired.
"I'm positive she is. They don't realize it yet, but I've never seen someone talk to Drazhan in that way without his snapping their neck." Gerbert remarked this as a triumphant smile began to form on his lips. Fabian, too, smiled.
"Trust me they are made for each other," Gerbert said and Fabian chuckled,
"I'm hoping so."
"I'll have the espresso, please," Drazhan said as the server scribbled down his order.
"How about you, madam?" He inquired, and she replied curtly,
"A water!" When Drazhan smirked, she narrowed her eyes.
"So, which ring do you prefer? Sapphire? Diamond. Ruby? Emerald?" Drazhan asked and she scowled.
"None. I'm not going to marry a jerk like you. Not in this life!"
"So you're saying you'd marry me in your next life?" Judith groaned as Drazhan smirked.
"Why the f*uck are you so annoying?"
"Thank you, I was born this way," Drazhan stated proudly, leaning back in his chair, and Judith rolled her eyes.
The waiter brought the espresso for Drazhan, as well as the water for Judith. "Enjoy your drinks," he said as he stood up straight. The waiter smiled and walked away. Drazhan sipped his coffee, while Judith scoffed.
"Of course, a bitter person like you would want something as bitter." She muttered, and Drazhan nodded.
"That is something I agree with you on."
Judith sighed and sat up straight, "Look, I can't marry you—"
"But I will marry you, what are the odds," Drazhan said shrugging.
"How are you going to marry me if I don't agree?" Judith exclaimed in disbelief, but quickly composed herself.
"Look we shouldn't get married, we won't be happy together. On top of that, you f*ucking slept with my cousin! And remember I told I'll kill you? I even kicked you in the nuts, and you still want to marry me! You must tell your father that you can't marry me!" Judith pleaded urgently, and Drazhan frowned, perplexed.
"Who? And why? I want to marry you even of you kill me while I'm sleeping. I'll be really happy to wake up every morning with you in my arms, you snuggling into my chest. "Like you did that night," Drazhan said with a smirk and her eyes widened.
"What night?"
"That night, I had to leave without saying anything. Which is why you're so upset with me." He smirked, and she looked at him, puzzled. "When I awoke, I found your arms around me, snuggled into my body, your head on my chest. Our bodies molded so perfectly to each other, and you were so warm." Drazhan stated with a dreamy expression on his face and noticed Judith's face turning red. But this time not with anger. He smirked, and she averted her gaze.
"Why would I do that!" She scoffed and his smirk widened,
"Perhaps your body desired my warmth,"
He shrugged, and she turned to face him. Suddenly, his expression went serious, and she noticed a flash of desire in his eyes. "And I really liked that." She couldn't take her gaze away from him; it was as if his browns had captivated her. His gaze was drawn to her lips as they parted. She groaned as she noticed a smirk forming on his lips again, and she averted her gaze.
"Let's go shall we?" Drazhan said this while standing up and narrowing her gaze at him.
"Back to the office?"
"Of course not. We're still on our date, love." He smirked, and she wanted to rip his eyes out, but her father's face flashed across her head, and she stood up, groaning, and followed him to his car.
After driving her around in his car and stopping for lunch, he dragged her tothe shopping mall against her will. And all she could do was groan infrustration. It was now evening after a day of misery on her part, and he wasdriving her to the office.
He stole occasional glances of her, but she refused to take her gaze away fromthe window.
"Ah, this brings back memories." He said as he drove through thesuburbs, and she rolled her eyes.
"Just don't crash like the last time—stop!" She yelled as she sprangin her seat. He instantly pulled over and inquired, his eyes wide.
"What?"
"Turn around! Follow that car." She said this while pointing to ablack car on the opposite side of the road.
"Why?" He inquired, and she only yelled, "Just follow thatcar!" Drazhan turned around and followed the car. As the black automobilepassed past the gate, he parked the car outside the apartment complex. Judithjumped out of the carand dashed towards the apartment complex.
"Hey!" Drazhan yelled as he unbuckled his seatbelt and followed her.As the elevator climbed, he followed her up the stairs. She was quick, as sheascended in a flash. She proceeded to the apartment on the 4th level, which waslocated at the other end of the corridor. As her feet thumped on the tiledfloor, her hands clenched in rage. Drazhan was perplexed when he saw howenraged she was. Her rage towards him was nothing compared to this and he couldonly imagine who would be at the other end of her wrath.
Judith came to a halt in front of the door, and Drazhan frowned as she stoodthere for a while. She glanced at her watch and banged on the door after aboutten minutes. After some time, the door opened, and Drazhan saw a shirtless manpeek his head out, and Judith roared.
"You scumbag!"
