The police arrive at school.
The police discover the corpses of Kuu Dere and Geiju Tsuka.
The police discover a box cutter that is stained with the blood of Kuu Dere and Geiju Tsuka.
The police find the fingerprints of Amai Odayaka on the weapon.
Amai Odayaka is arrested by the police.
The police question all the students in the school, including Ayano. The police are unable to link Ayano to any crimes.
The police believe that they have arrested the perpetrator of the crime. The police investigation ends, and students are free to leave.
Senpai is disgusted to learn that her childhood friend would actually commit murder. She is deeply disappointed in her.
Ayano returns home, thinking of Senpai every step of the way.
The Art Club no longer has enough members to remain operational. The school forces the club to disband.
