"Alright this y'all room right here" Ace said opening the door

"It's pretty" I said

"Something good for the queens" Ace said

"My eat your food at the table" I said

"You wanna talk?" Ace asked

"Yea let's go in the room though" I said

I went and sat down on the bed and put my drink on the night stand.

"I know you wish you never met me now because of all this shit" Ace said sighing

"No it's not your fault. I know what comes with you so I'm not mad or upset. Like I said I just don't want my daughter to end up hurt" I said

"I'm not gone let nun happen. Hell I will sleep in the same room with y'all if you scared" Ace said

"No its okay. You need to be with your grandma" I said

"Ima let you meet her tomorrow" Ace said

"Woah that's too soon.." I said

"You gone be around her ma" Ace said

"I know but I'm not ready for that now.." I said

"Okay I respect that. " Ace said

"Yeah" I said

It was silence for a moment until Ace finally said something else.

"Ima let y'all get comfortable just text or call me" Ace said

"Okay and thank you for bringing me somewhere safe" I said getting up

"Stop thanking me" Ace said. "Ain't no need for it. "

"I'm still gonna say it cause it's just me" I said

"I know " Ace said hugging me

"Text me" I said

"I will ma" Ace said

Ace walked out the room and closed the door. I let out a sigh and went and sat by My.

"You finished?" I asked

"I tired" My said

"Come on let's get you cleaned up then so you can go to bed." I said

I picked My up and took her to the bathroom so I could wash her hands and clean up. I cleaned her up and then took her into the room.

"Can I watch my iPad?" She asked

"Yea baby here" I said giving it to her

While she occupied I took the time to take my shoes and clothes off and look for me some night clothes. I put on a t-shirt and some shorts and then sat back on the bed. I picked up my phone to text Ace to see if he made it in the room safely.
