7:30pm

I was just now pulling back into my moms driveway I decided I was going to stay at home so I can get myself together and spend some time with my daughter. I needed this time to myself. I got out the car and locked the door and walked up to my moms door and knocked. It took a while but my mama finally came to the door.

"Girl you know you have a key to my house" my mama said

"I forgot" I said walking in and shutting the door

"Malaysia is asleep. I'm going to lay down she's in my room with me" She said

"Actually mama ima go back home" I said

"You sure?" She asked

I sat down on the couch waiting on my mama to get My together. I didn't bring any clothes I literally just came over here this morning cause I didn't want to be alone but now I feel like I can be alone since I talked to Ace. In my heart I just feel like he will wake up soon and I will wait on him and be here when he awakes.

My mama finally came back out with My laying on her shoulder. She gave me her bag and then handed me My.

She followed me to the door and I opened it and walked outside unlocking the car. I went to the back and buckled My in her car seat and then put her bag right beside her.

"Mommy I'm hungry" She said

She nodded and went right back to sleep. I closed the door and got in the car buckling my seat belt. I turned the car up and then pulled out my driveway making my way to Bojangles.

I hooked my phone up to the aux while I was driving and played some Ann Marie. I loved me some Ann Marie.

I pulled up behind the car and waited as I got my card out my wallet.

"Mommy?" Malaysia said

"Where's Ace?" She asked

I knew this was coming I just didn't think it was this soon.

"He's on vacation he will be back soon okay" I said

"How long will he be gone?" She asked

I hated that I had to lie to My but it was honestly the only way. I didn't want her to know what really happened with Ace so it was best for me to say he was on a small vacation so that's what I had to do. My ended up getting really close with Ace too she was always asking about him when we wasn't around. I loved their relationship.

I pulled up to the window and paid once I paid they gave me our drinks and then asked what sauce we wanted and she gave us our food.

"Mommy can I have some?" Malaysia asked

"You get some when we get home okay?" I said

I put the food to the side and pulled out making my way home. Hopefully this food be good cause sometimes Bojangles be pissing me off. I turned the radio up started singing along to the music.
