A/N- Hey guys. Warning. Attempt of rape in this chapter. So please don't hate me after. Hope you enjoy it though. Love you all my readers and fans.

RAVEN POV

It was a good thing I ate before we came back in the demon realm. The food that was served at the ball was too disgusting to describe. The demons found it delicious but when I saw them eating It, I wanted to vomit. I believe I saw worms but Ami told me they were actually human intestines. I stopped asking about the food after that.

After we danced and we danced for a while, we had to return near the throne with the council members. He said it was almost midnight and he had to merge his power with my ancestors before releasing it again.

Throughout the night, whether we were dancing, walking or just standing, his hand was on the small of my back. It was such a simple action but it warmed me so much. We were waiting for midnight to approach. While waiting, for some reason my eyes were drawn to the throne. It was made from a black stone, with an oval back rest, and square like post carved next to it. The arm rest was flat and ended with a small carved, golden demon skull. It looked regal, yet terrifying and hummed of power if that was ever possible. Behind the throne was a black curtain that seemed to hum with energy.
But what really caught my attention was that it seemed as thought the throne was giving off a soft glow. Was I imagining things or was that actually happening?

“Do you see it little Raven?” Ami whispered, his lips close to my ear.

“See what?” Is he talking about the glowing throne?

“The glow of the throne. Only the King can see it. If you can see It, I do believe that the throne recognizes you as the Valac heir.”

I spun around to look at him. My lips were brought close to his. His lips formed into a smile before drawing closer and covering mine. I responded immediately to his kiss, but before I could pull him even closer, he pulled away.

“Raven, you look so beautiful tonight. I never did tell you just how beautiful you are. And don’t think I didn’t notice what you did with your hair. The style is perfect for you.”

I smiled and blushed at his words.  I’ve been doing that a lot tonight., blushing. My happy little bubble remained, even when the council members approached. Some of them sneering at me. I didn’t care. Ami’s hand was touching my skin through the opening at the back of the dress. His thumb, it felt like, was drawing circles on my back.

“Your majesty. It’s almost time. Are you ready?” they asked as they reached us.

“Yes. Raven let’s go.” Amon said, taking my hand.

“Wait your majesty. She can’t go up there. She isn’t your queen as yet. She has no ties to that throne.” Little did they know. “She can stay with Leraje, while we accompany you.”

“Leraje? Who is that? I’ve never heard nor seen him before?” Amon questioned, taking a protective stance in front of me. Leraje? It couldn’t possibly be the high priest from the village, could it?

“Leraje is a sorcerer, the last of his kind. He was King Ronove’s sorcerer. He went missing years ago.”

The Leraje they were speaking of stepped forward. It was him! No no no! What is he doing in Raum? I gripped the back of Amon's jacket and tried to hide my entire body.

“Greetings your majesty. It’s an honor to meet you. I was told that you were once the Onxy knight when King Ronove was here.” Leraje said, his voice coated in honey. That was the voice he used when he spoke with Helphas.
