Cid paced around in her empty cantina, occasionally looking towards the entrance.

Where was everyone?

The clones were, from what she knew from yesterday, on Bracca for some unplanned adventure, and Candy had gone to the market with Bolo and Ketch to buy her cat some goodies. It had passed an hour, which was far too long for a mere market trip

Finally, footsteps were heard down the stairs, and she turned to see Bolo and Ketch running in, looking real spooked. Cid approached them, cane in hand. "About damn time! Where were you guys- and where the kriff is Candy?"

"S-she-" Ketch stammered, trembling. "She got kidnapped by these i- inquisiting people-"

"They were real scary," Bolo agreed. "All black and with red laser swords."

Cid paused in her tracks. "WHAT?!"

Bolo and Ketch gave no reply.

"Tell me everything ya saw," Cid demanded. "And leave nothing out."

They explained in the best way they could. So apparently, 2 people clad in black and accompanied by black armored soldiers had come to the marketplace in search of a Jedi, cut some woman's head off, harassed Ketch, and nabbed Candy after she defended him-? Cid tried to process all the information thrown at her, to no avail.

"What are you gonna do?" Ketch asked. "Obviously if Candy is a Jedi she ain't getting out anytime soon..."

"She'll never get out alive!" Bolo wailed. "She's done for!"

"Would you two shut it?!" Cid snapped at them. "I'm trying to think."

They immediately complied, still in shock and fear from the incident. Cid sighed before immersing herself in her thoughts. So, these 'inquisiting people' had to be Imperial, since who else would track down Jedi if not the Empire? And from the looks on Ketch and Bolo's faces, they must not be any ordinary officers.

So then what was she to do? Obviously she couldn't just let Candy die- not after she agreed to take her in; not after all these days!

Storming back into her office, Cid plopped into her chair before frantically tapping her claws on her desk. If only the clones would just come back quickly...

Kendall grunted as she was strapped to this interrogation chair equipped with... solar panels-? What kind of interrogation chair was equipped with solar panels? Suddenly she got a closer look at the inside... oh, shit.

Those were no solar panels. They were electrified grids.

She looked around, observing her surroundings. She was alone, with only 2 stormtroopers and that female Inquisitor- First Sister- in the room besides her. The room was spacious, dark, and glowing red. Quite the engineering model to instill fear. It reminded her slightly of the interrogation chamber on Takath, except this one was darker and more solitary. Depa wouldn't be here to share in her coming suffering. And the device she was on was not a containment field, but a dentist chair with binders, needles, and electric grids.

"This is an interesting place," Kendall quipped at last, looking over at First Sister.

"Why, thank you," The inquisitor replied curtly. "I'm sure you'll grow to love it here, given you don't die."

"What do you mean by that-?"

"Oh, you'll either crack or die. That's what happened to all the other Jedi we caught. Well... besides Junda. She escaped." Giving her a sadistic smile, First Sister pressed a few buttons, raising the grids and bringing the needles closer towards Kendall. The points crackled with violet electricity that seemed to intensify as it approached her, dancing hungrily like a bunch of eels. Kendall didn't have enough time to even toy with the thought of her old friend Cere before they came upon her, thoroughly searing every inch of her body worse than Rita had done her on Takath. She could swear she smelled something burning, but perhaps that was due to the electricity making contact with her clothes. But 75% of what overloaded her senses was pain, excruciating pain.
