19 BBY, Ord Mantell

Dume had gotten into the pantry. Again.

Kendall shook her head as Delvin meowed on top of her head. "It's 10 minutes till lunchtime, you hungry boy. Could you wait another 10 minutes?"

"Hungry... want food..." Dume turned back to the pantry in hopes of finding some Mantell Mix. "Food..."

"Food will come soon enough." Kendall tried to convince the wolf, to no avail. A minute later he emerged with a mouthful of nuna leg. Kendall sighed softly before throwing her hands up in defeat. This was why she had a bird back on Earth. "Fine... fine... I guess you're just very hungry..."

Delvin leapt off to join Dume as Cid came over to join her. "Did the dog steal food again?"

"Unfortunately," Kendall replied, shaking her head.

"I should have a lock on the door," Cid muttered, eyeing the open pantry. "So it can't get any food unless it's mealtime. What's missing?"

"A nuna leg." She glanced at the pets now chowing down on the meat. "The most common thefts are nuna legs and Mantell Mix from Dume, and everything else from Wrecker, Bolo, and Ketch."

"Next time those 3 try and get anything I should charge 10 credits."

"20 credits for Ketch."

"Hey!" Ketch complained before one of his figures went down on the holotable. He turned to Bolo. "Why you-"

"HAHA!" Bolo cackled as Ketch made his next move. Kendall rolled her eyes before going back to the couch to grab the mop. That was when she heard footsteps in the distance, and she whirled back around to see a Devaronian surrounded by some cronies. He stepped forward, looking around as if examining the place.

"Hey, Roland," Cid said, crossing her arms. "Ya here to spend money? Or do you want me to do you another favor?"

Roland? Kendall raised a brow, fingering her mop.

"You know... I think this would be a nice place for me and my friends," Roland mused, stroking his chin.

"Well, it ain't a hotel, so I'd suggest you find somewhere else."

"No... this place will do. Business reasons, you know."

Kendall cleared her throat as Dume and Delvin tensed in front of the newcomers. "If you're looking to rent this parlor-"

"Oh, but I'm not looking to rent," Roland replied smugly before motioning to his men. "I'm looking to take."

Leda was anxious.

After her escape from Levantha, she and her rescuers had gotten another call from Cid regarding something on Vanqor, so they had gone as requested. Long story short, aside from the gundarks at the landing zone, it wasn't so bad.

Now she was waiting aboard the Marauder  for Noble to bring a 'surprise'  to her. She immediately knew what it was- who it was. Noble had already tipped her off...

"... I can't believe they just kicked us out like that," a female voice was heard. "That parlor was my aunt's before she died, and it was mine, and still is!"

"Yeah, we were here first!" A male cried indignantly.

"You think there's a good reason?" Another female asked; this one familiar. And the presence... all too familiar...

"Well, like he said- it's good for business, I guess," The first muttered. "Oh, look, they're back."

"And probably went to look for us," The familiar one mused. "We should hang around here; might as well wait till they get back."
