Confession: feelings and past

"Honey! I need to leave for a mission. I will be back after 2 days. Will you be okay by yourself?" yoon-gi asked while taking a bite of pancakes made by you.

"Is everyone going?" your voice reflected your uncomfort about being alone. It's been a month and half since your marriage. Yoongi spent his time with you, being the lovely husband, he promised to be. After the incident with tae, you took a few more days to heal before being intimate with him.

"The kims can stay, if you want."

"Would it be okay without them?"

"Taehyung can stay home, behind the computer and we won't need hyung until we return. Namjoon....... my brother can take up for him." The husband patiently explained the situation to his wife.

"But Jin oppa told me that your brother was abroad..." she trailed off in confusion.

"He was but he came back yesterday night....(her expression changed from confusion to understanding and back to confusion.)(he chuckled) he wanted to meet a friend before me. He loves her a lot, not that way but he cherishes her more than anything." He explained.

"Then.... Your mother?" she questioned, as she was informed that her mother-in-law would return with the youngest male of the team.

"She also went to check on someone. Huh! My family loves other people better than me." He complained with a pout, making his woman giggle.

She held his hand and used the other one to caress his cheek, "but your wife loves you!" she said with utmost love and honesty reflecting in her eyes.

His eyes caught hers and spotted the tears brimming. "I won't tell you that I love you. Because I don't.(her tears threatened to fall) Not yet. But you know what? I never loved a girl, so I won't even know if I love you. Give me time. Hmm?" He said and was about to leave.

She ran and clutched him in a back hug. "Yoon-gi," he held her hands, accepting her warmth and hummed "I want true love, not as the mother of your child or as the woman you had to marry for any sort of reason, I want you to love to love me as a woman, your woman."

"Even I don't know what is love, but know that you calm me even if your presence alone my heart beats to the extent that it might explode. I know that your presence makes me feel safe, even when most people of the city are scared of your sight." He patiently heard her confessing her feeling to him. His heart was doing gymnastics when she told him that she felt safe with him.

"I know you only want a child from me and you might even get rid of me after that, but I will fulfil your wish. It is the only thing that I can do for your happiness in return for what you gave me." His heart fell as deep when he heard her utter out his initial thoughts for her.

"You gave me care yoon-gi, you gave me a true family, something I never knew could exist in my life." His brows furrowed when he heard that she never had a true family, for all he knew that she was young-Jae's sister. She did have a family.

He turned to look at her eyes, tears overflowing. "But... your brother, mother and I even heard that your father...." He questioned, holding her hands since the moment she hugged him.

"I was adopted by them. All I know is that my parents died in an accident and then Mr. kang, the man you know as my father, adopted me. But after he died, I was beaten up by them, daily. Even that day, when you brought me here...." She broke down in tears, not being able to complete.

"He assaulted her." Jin said as he walked in with his teammates. "She reacted and hit him before escaping. A lady was kind enough to shelter her. But she needed to leave the country and y/n was compelled to come back. when she reached home...... you know what happened then." Jin told the younger one as he rocked his crying wife to sleep. All of them looked at the girl in pity. "And for you to know, it was reason she cried when you kissed her neck at wedding. It reminded her of young-Jae's actions."

"But she was always calm afterwards, every time we were active... yk." Yoongi tried to make a point.

"She was because I told her that she will never have to face young Jae ever. Remember I asked you time to have a talk with her overnight. On the night of your wedding, when you had to leave for mission."

"Well, the good that we won't have any guilt for killing him now. He dared to betray us and also hurt our sister(Namjoon glared at him secretly)-in-law." Taehyung added the words, correcting himself immediately.
