"Baby!!!" Bela almost screamed while engulfing her bestie in a bear hug. "Boss told me what happened. Are you okay now?" she asked although y/n couldn't know which incident the girl was talking about. A lot had happened in her life.
"Yup." She popped the 'p' at the end "you might be glad to see my brother-in-law." y/n said with a smile which the girl replicated.
"hi" Jungkook emerged from Namjoon's back, only to be greeted by a flying slipper in his face, once again. "Has the way of greeting changed in Korea?" he whispered to Namjoon recalling his reunion with y/n.
The elder just chuckled and moved aside, letting the girl hit him with bare hands. It was pleasurable for him as he was still 'not-so-calm' after the fight in school.
Disturbing his satisfaction, his sister pulled the two fighting bulls apart. She has had enough drama for a day. "Can we just have a peaceful talk? I have had enough for a day." Her tone was something that the idol and his top fan recognized as of yoon-gi. 'Great influence.' They both thought.
"I know just what you and this muscle bull need. What about you.........." (Bela thought about how to address Namjoon)
"You can just call me as well as others oppa and I would like something refreshing. Anything you suggest would be fine. I am really exhausted today." He said and she sprinted to the kitchen.
They relaxed themselves under the air conditioning before she came back with a chocolate shake for her petty-pretty self, watermelon juice for the 'i-have-had-enough' people and banana milk for the person she locked horns with.
"So............. Why is he back? didn't he leave us for good, with his love-of-live?" she stated in a mocking tone. TBH, she has had a crush on Jungkook ever since she saw him with y/n. He stopped by the café at times and she witnessed how he treated y/n, delicate as ever. At one point she even assumed that the two were dating because of the way he looked after her friend. But y/n cleared the air for her, stopping her from giving up on him. The day she gathered all her courage to confess, he came to the café with a girl. He introduced that girl to them, his old as well as new friend, as kang soo Jin a.k.a, his fiancée. Soon after the introduction, he informed them that he would leave for U.S. he said he would return after a year and might even marry 'the love of his life' there itself, as soon as they turn legal adults.
Tears brimmed in her eyes, while looking at his left hand, finding the ring gone, she felt relief wash over her heart.
