I smacked my alarm and turned to my side before s h e came in. "Ash get up. Your alarm just went off. I heard it." My mom said. "Ugh, do I have to go?" I whined "Yes if you want to get accepted." she replied. I groan and get out of my bed. Maybe going won't be so bad. I get ready. After that, I grab my phone, headphones, book bag, and bike. I roll it outside and go to the kitchen. "I made some breakfast." Mom said. I grabbed a piece of toast and bacon, quickly scarfed it all down, and headed towards the door. "Bye Mom! See you after school!" I yelled. "Okay, stay safe. Don't get into any fights today!" she yells back. "I won't!" I put on my headphones, turned on my music, and started riding. I have to get up early because I got to go over the mountains. After a solid 20 minutes, I pulled up in front of Lunula High School, the best high school in the state. I put my bike up and walked inside. It was HUGE. I started walking around to try and find the principal's office. After a good 10 minutes, I looked around and saw that I ended up back where I started. "UGH I'M NEVER GONNA FIND THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE! THIS SCHOOL IS TOO BIG!" I yelled in frustration. "Um, excuse me, do you need help? "A voice asked me. I turned around and saw a boy standing there. "Uh, yeah. Big time. Do you happen to know where the principal's office is?" I asked "I understand how you would get lost. It is big. Follow me." He said. We walked down the same hall I walked down before. Then we came across a door that said, 'Principal's Office.' "HOW DID I MISS THIS?!" I said in shock. "You wouldn't believe how often people do. Well, go on in. I'm Xavier by the way. 1st-year." He said "Oh, um, I'm Ash. 1st-year too." We shook hands and then I went inside.

"Uh, hello. My name is Ash. Sorry I'm late. I kind of got lost." I said sheepishly. "That's okay. A lot of students always do. That's why we have someone walk along the halls looking for new students just in case." She said. "I'm Mrs. Harrison, the principal." We shook hands and then I took a seat. "I was told that you are quite gifted. I saw that you have already meet Xavier. He will be there if you have any questions. Here is your class schedule, locker number and combination, and your uniform. Your mother has already informed me about what you like to wear so we gave you the boys uniform. Your gym uniform will be in your gym locker so don't worry about it. Do you have any questions about anything?" She asked "No, you basically answered everything I was going to ask you. Wait, there is one thing. Where is the bathroom so I can change?" "If you go towards the front doors and walk up the stairs, you'll see them on your right. A quick note so you won't be confused, all 1st year classes are on the top floor so it will be easier." "Thank you, Mrs. Harrison! Have a nice day!" I said. I found the bathrooms and got changed quickly. I took the elevator up to the 5th floor and got off. "Wow, so this place has 5 floors and an elevator. Way to go Mom!" I said to myself, walking down a hall trying to find my first period, History with Mr. James. Within a few minutes, find the classroom and walk inside. A wave of smells hit me.
Dang, there are a lot of alphas in this room. And some omegas have already been marked. Why would they even- no don't even think about it. Thank God I have my suppressants today.
I thought to myself. "Hello, you must be the new student. Go ahead and introduce yourself to the class." Mr. James said. "Um, hi. My name is Ash, I like to- um- play sports and uh- roller skate-" I stuttered. "Dang it, I didn't mean to stutter. Man, now I'll definitely be targeted." I thought to myself. "Okay, does anyone have any questions for Ash," Mr. James asked.
Wait, what did he just say?
I looked up and saw someone raise their hand. "Yes, Sal?" "W-why do y-you t-talk like t-that?" he asked obviously mocking me "Sal, I would advise you not to be rude. Unless you want to be sent to the office for the 5th time?" Mr. James asked. Sal shut his mouth. I stifled a snicker. "Go ahead and find a seat Ash. Alright, back to the lesson." I found a seat in the back and put my head down. This was going to be a long day.
