"You look beautiful, little star." I looked up, surprised at how I trailed off from reality. I smiled back at the hair stylist who had just finished straightening my hair. I was in a lavender color dress, a small pendent and pearl earrings was adorned by me. My reflection declared the strong persona I had.

I didn't wanted to admit it but I as a child inherited it from mom. A feeling of power, governance and authority as if the world was laid in front of me amd I was it's goddess. I was confident with a little nervousness for sure.

Two loud claps were heard and all the model looked at the staff standing by the door with a clipboard,on it was the list of entrance. He fixed his headphone and said," Let's start. Line up, show begins in two minutes." I nodded and went to join the queue.

And that's how my turn came and I walked on the ramp like a professional, ignoring the lights, gaze and phones recording me. Watching me. Watching the daughter of major personality as if I was a showpiece.

Nevertheless, the show was fabulous and earned many praises. Few models walked to me after the show to congratulate me for the first walk. They were generous and those who weren't just walked away.

I understand their emotions. They did a lot of hardwork to get on this level while I was privileged with pre-birth stardom. I couldn't help it but accept since I had no control over it. It just... happened.

On my way out of the venue I saw a black car, shining in glory, embracing every admiring pair of eyes which settled on the latest model of the limousine.

"Dad." I sighed, making my way to him while Hyejin waited for me near the exit. She knew it won't take long for me to come back real fast.

Driver opened the door and there I saw my dad sitting there with a bouquet of lilies. He gave it to me and said," I'm proud of you." Yeah, like I care what he has to say. "Anything else?" I asked.

He frowned, disappointed at my harsh words. "Dear, I really loved your performance. I knew it, you were born to join this industry instead of her business company."

I thought he would not attend yet he probed me wrong. My parents never stop surprising me, always coming up with the most unexpected answers.

"Dad please! I decided this career for me because I like being loved, something that you guys never gave me. I like it when someone praise me and love me, even if it is fake. I like my job."

"You should be grateful because you have came this far because of me Or there's a long queue to get here."

I clutched the bouquet close to my body to compose myself. "I know it. I know your influence and also know that no one wants to stand against mom and that's one of the reasons why I don't mention my parents name. They start rating me as if I'm a product. I hate this lifestyle."

"Someone might die for this lifestyle. You're too young to understand how world works. You never shed a sweat in sun or walked cabins to cabin with your biodata. People don't sweat, they boil their blood in hardship. They struggle."

He smashed the bitter truth on my face like he always did. Honestly, I did watched his interviews where he confessed the struggles he went through during his time but struggles were different for everyone. The level of it was subjective from person to person.

"Well, I'm struggling too. I never had true friends nor any companion because you guys didn't wanted your name to get highlighted in the news headlines. I was grounded with bodyguards until high school. It's just two years and you guys again came back to ruin my freedom."

He clenched his fists and growled with a rude voice as usual. It was his voice in every conversation we had which eventually never ended on good terms. It's always bitter memories.

"Y/N! Your mom gave birth to you when you were eighteen and you can't make a decision on your own. She had an empire before her but look at you.. You are a disaster."

My heart broke because his words always penetrated deep inside me. And he was not the only one who did it, my mom was worse than him. That's why, I didn't visited them that often.

"A mistake, precisely." I said, a thick teardrop rolling down my cheeks as rage filled my veins. He couldn't be my father. "Stop acting like you care about me or mom does. Huh! Even she doesn't care about me. You both have your own life, family and what I am is just a burden to you both, which is a game for you two called responsibility."

He was taken aback. Perhaps I finally opened up, not totally but a part of me was revealed that I wasn't satisfied with all the luxury. I only craved care and support which I never got.

Hesighed, opened his mouth to speak but closed it again since he was speechless. He had no excuse.

"Why dad? Why I have to ask if I should visit your family or hers on thanksgiving? Why I celebrate Christmas in the most expensive penthouse in Europe but alone, no friends no family, literally no one to assure that they miss me?"

"That's... Life and it goes on."

I scoffed with a laugh. "Some Shakespeare coming out of you, huh? Goodbye dad. I'm so done with this fake celebration." I wiped my eyes, wearing sunglasses and lowering the cap. I exit the car running right towards where Hyejin was waiting for me in a cab.

I slammed the door and hugged her tight. She rubbed my back, taking the bouquet out of my hand and smelling it. "Nice flowers." She caressed my hair, clearly knowing my background and what I had been through. She was the first person who I got close to after secretly signing for entertainment company.

The car drove to the address she had given before my entry. I pulled back, removing my glasses and roughly wiping my tears from bare face. "They are so bad."

She giggled and pinched my nose. "You're a bad girl yourself. Come on, cry. You look more cute next to me.

"What the.." I cracked a smile. She was successful in lightening my mood. After a minute she took my hand and gave me three business cards. I looked at them and those they had english fonts but their native language was also used.

"What are Paramount pictures, Dharma Production and Kodokawa pictures?"

She smiled and said," Hollywood, Bollywood and Japanese movie industry. Your mom played the card, girl. She called me and said that they aren't the lead roles but good side roles that would enhance your popularity."

"I won't do anything that Her majesty would say. Let that Dracula yell, just because she wants me to doesn't mean I have to." I crossed my arms over my chest with a sulky pout. She giggled and said," Okay, fine. It depends on you but I also arranged something for you."

"What?" My eyes lit up with curiosity. She said," A period k-drama with a male idol is waiting for you; a movie with a new comer actor and three reality shows. You're gonna be busy for one and a half year and if your performance impress the audience then you have a chance to act against the hallu wave star, Kim Taehyung."

I screamed. Literally screamed in car. He was nothing but a man out of anime, too good to be real. He was so perfect and a man every woman would want inside her, he makes girl wet and boys change their preference. If I would say I had a crush on him then it wad an understatement. He was that man about whom every lady dreamt of, he was just him, Kim Taehyung.

Hyejin uncovered her ears and for sure driver was startled too but what could I do. "You're loud."

I nodded. "Of course I'm loud, expressive and full of life. And this hope of working with him, gives me energy to make more efforts than required. I am desperate to work with him, no matter how much time it would take. I can wait."

"You are persistent. I hope you could live your words." She said, watching me going all excited.

If only we knew, that was the last day of my joyful life before a series of hardship and crazy saesang.

A life I would die to get back in future but won't be able to attain. My wide smile with butterflies in the stomach on this adventurous day would be missed a lot. A day which changed my past, present and would may change the future.

Let's see.
