"Were you eavesdropping me?"

"I swear, I only heard the goodbye. Nothing more than that." He exclaimed with puckered expression. He turned to me with a smile like usual as he extended his bottle. "Wanna drink?" I arched my eyebrow with fury.

"I'm not a punk who drinks on daily basis  to please others. I drink for myself." I pushed it back and said," I'll be in the car. " I walked away, leaving a grinning boy. And only God knows why was he smiling? Either he was hit on head or he was drunk after two shots. Probably giggling on my stubbornness.

I didn't cared at all as long as I was away from problems. I stride back to the vehicle and scrolled through the pdf of the contract conditions from the Starlight entertainment.

Suddenly the driver's seat was occupied by a man as he buckled the seatbelt. I closed my phone and looked at my wrist watch. It's been only five minutes since I came back and he was right here as if he was with me all along without a break.

"Where's she?"

"She called her driver. He would pick her, you don't have to worry."

"Says the one who was insisted on coming here." I sarcastically marked his flaws because no matter what he shouldn't had left her alone among drunkards.

"It's not wrong to recall memories, is it? She's a strong girl."

He left me speechless. I huffed in annoyance and looked out. The drive was as silent as I expected. When we reached I got out first to prevent seeing his face that would unintentionally hurt me.

I locked myself in my room and didn't bothered to come down since I declared that I was already full with the dumplings that we ate but I munched on chips packets hidden under the bed. Secret treasure.

I got a text from my step brother and it flashed on screen.

Joonie:
On my way..

I climbed out of my bed, glancing at the clock that striked eleven. It was almost midnight but the step brother I know was punctual and one with great IQ level, that encouraged me in my academic field. The only thing out of dad's moving on was to have a great step brother who had similiar life. He was older than me and accepted me as a little sister even though our lives are sky apart.

I walked downstairs and almost got an heart attack. Jeon Jungkook was in a black vest, with grey sweatpants as he drank water from the bottle. His chain around the neck was too hot to ignore and that hotness was increased with ten folds when my eyes checked out his tattoos, filling his whole right hand and a bit of chest as his muscles flexed with honey tanned skin shining with sweat. His wet bangs were pushed back and with the help of headphones he was probably listening to songs.

"Hey, I thought you slept."

I broke my fantasy and decided to reply. "None of your business. Weren't you supposed to sleep too?" I glanced at his room, which was dark and I wondered how did he managed to change a bright guest room into something so aesthetic but it was hard to figure out or even see through the darkness of red, thinking how a room looked like that.

"I was exercising." He shrugged his shoulders and now I realised from where he got those sturdy packs of muscles.

The doorbell rang and I knew who it was. I marched to the door and opened it though Jungkook followed behind in defense of who it could be at this hour.

"Joonie!" I exclaimed in excitement as he bragged in and held me in a bone crushing hug. He lifted me in his arms and spinned once before I was harshly detached from his warmth.

I cursed when I saw how dramatic Jungkook was before standing between us as if I did a crime. He was my step brother and truly treated me like his blood related sister.
