And so a couple of years have passed by and a lot of changes came.

Nicki, Odell and Safaree moved in to a six bedroom villa in Beverly Hills.

Safaree has a business of his own. He opened a motorbikes store. The gradual fame lead him to add more and more stuff on it. Now it has a bunch of merchandise, created a clothing line for men, closed a deal with Adidas... He's like a brand of his own.

At first Nicki wasn't really in favour of, but what could she say? It was his dream. He didn't hold her back from realising hers. Now his business has expanded to New York City. He goes down there a lot. Apparently, he has to check the store with his own eyes. Oh well...

Was it mentioned the wedding's in a month or so? Yep. She wanted to wait until her career was on top enough for her to settle down and focus on herself and her family more. With two studio albums released and one in it's process, Billboard records, a clothing line, fragrance line, numerous endorsements, partnerships and advertisements, she left like this was the right moment to do so.

As for Dricki there wasn't much going on, according to them. Other than being amazing parents to a now ten-year old Odell, they supported each other very well as work colleagues.

Safaree on the other hand would get jealous at times at how they would act around each other. They were the only ones you still thought there wasn't any spark between them. It was so natural the way they bonded like nothing happened, even though knowing what their limits were.

"You're leaving?" Nicki asked Safaree as she came in their bedroom. He was zipping up his duffle bag. He looked at her then back at it.

"Yeah. They just called me from New York. There's a last minute meeting." He said nonchalantly which kind of made her mad. But as much as she wanted, she couldn't.

"What? Nooo... You were gonna take us out tonight, remember?"

"I know, I know... But they need me there right now."

"What am I suppose to do tonight then?"

"Call some of your girl friends. I heard Candi's in town."

"Oh yeah." She grabbed my phone which was on the bed and texted Candi asking where was she staying at. Maybe she could go see her or something.

"Okay, babe. I'm leaving now." Safaree said giving her a kiss on the cheek. She pouted. "I'll make it up to you when I come back. I promise."

He winked at her. She pressed her lips together so he wouldn't see her smile. "You better."

He walked out and yelled his goodbye to Odell, wherever he is, he shouted back. She felt bored already. You know that overwhelming feeling of anxiety/excitement when it's crushed? That's the one.

After she heard the front door closing and his car driving away, she got up.
"Odell!" She called for him.

"In the game room." She went there and saw him sitting on his blue puff bean chair playing PlayStation4 they got him for Christmas. Still standing by the door, he just wouldn't pay her no attention.

"Do you wanna order some something or you want a homemade meal?"

"Weren't we going out tonight with Safaree?"

"Yeah, well, he left, for New York." He sighed then drove his total attention to the game. He thought Safaree was coming back later. "So, what do you wanna eat?"

"Anything is fine."

"Boy, if you don't take your eyes off that game..."

"Lasagna."
