Chapter 10

Drake walked through school's the front entrance alone. He had went to pick up Nicki but unfortunately she already had left. He missed her, even though they basically spent the whole weekend with each other at his house.

He made his way to the hallway here her locker is. Bingo. He finally spotted her talking to her girls. He hesitated to go talk to her, but as soon as one of her friends saw him, she whispered in another's ear and left Nicki alone. He discreetly walked behind her and hugged her. Good thing she didn't jumped because she knew his arms so well, yet he scared her a little.

"Hey bae."

"Hey Brey." She smiled.

"Where did that name came from?"

"Your new nickname silly."

"Pick another one."

"Aubs." She answered right away.

"I'm having this feeling you did a list of nicknames for me."

"Not really, these were the only ones I came up with."

"So, anyways... I went to pick you up but your dad said you already had already left."

"Yeah, my mom gave me a ride."

"Fair enough." Just then the bell rang. "Ugh, I guess I'll see you in Math."

"Yeah." They shared a quick peck. "See ya."

They way to separated directions.

They were now in math class. The teacher had given some excises to solve in pairs. Of course Nicki and Drake sat together. Since they were good at this, they quickly finished all of them and just sat around doing some scribbles. Drake kept sneaking kisses on her cheek and she would blush every time he did it.

"Are you going to get this shy every time I kiss you?"

"No..."

"Good. 'Cause I'm going to shower you with kisses." He kissed her cheek again.

She giggled. "Aubrey, stop. We're in class."

"And why should I stop?"

"I don't want to get detention because of you, again."

He put his hand over heart like he was hurt. "Ouch! You know what? I'll just keep my kisses to myself. You're not getting any."

"Fine with me." She said opening her math book and flipped through the pages trying to avoid her surroundings. Drake waited a while to see if she was serious. Deadass she was really focusing on some Trigonometry exercises she found.

"You know, I was just kidding, right?" He said.

"I know." He looked at her confused. She chuckled. "I just wanted to see how long you were going to keep up with your little acting. Seems like you can't spend a day without me."

"Can't argue with that." The bell rung. The class was dismissed and they said their goodbyes. They were going to see each other again in after school rehearsals.

The weekend has finally came. Spring Drama Festival was here and everyone was excited to see the students performing Grease. They were going to play on Friday and Saturday in two different acts at 7:30.

Since the first show had went well, Nicki had nothing to worry about, making her decide to relax and take a nap. She wasn't planning going to school until 30 minutes before the show, but for her, guess you could call it luck, an incoming call from Drake came across her phone. waking her up. She lazily pick it up and answered in a small voice.
