Bryce's pov

I just finished getting ready. Nothing big it just a white button up with a blazer and some black pants. Usually I would go in some shorts and a t-shirt but since it's a mascarade and the invitation Anthony gave us says to dress nice. So here I am dressing nice. I do hope Jaden decides to go because then hopefully he can actually make up with Ashley. I grab my phone and my ask as I'm about to walk out the door I see Jaden.

He was dressed nice I guess he actually decided to go. Finally I talked some sense into him. I closed my door locking it behind me. I walk down the stairs and I hear the door bell and Jaden opens it reveal a 5'4 girl with blonde hair. She was wearing a red tight dress. What the fuck is going on? I'm so fucking confused. I never told him he could bring someone the whole point of taking him to her party is for them to make up and become friends again.

Jaden:um Melissa this is Bryce one of my roommates, Bryce this is Melissa my date for today

Bryce:hi

Melissa:hi

Bryce:okay well are you guys ready to go?

Melissa:I am

Jaden:so am I

Bryce:okay let's go then

We all walked out of the house. She looks offle familiar but I can't put my finger on it. Oh who fucking cares anymore. I closed the door but called Jaden over so he could lock it. She was waiting for him by his car. I guess we're taking separate cars. You know what it's better that way I do not want an awkward car ride with a girl I do not know.

Bryce:Jaden who the fuck is that?

Jaden:my date

Bryce:you didn't mention a date at all plus why bring her if you didn't even want to go in the first place

Jaden:I don't know last minute arrangements

Bryce:are you trying to make Ashley jealous?

Jaden:what the fuck no

Bryce:it seems like it

Jaden:I don't fucking care what you say I'll see you at the party later

Bryce:bye

He walked away from me not even letting me argue back. The only thing I said was 'bye' because I know he won't stay and argue. I glanced at Melissa again and now it made sense. The only reason I remember her is because she fuck Jaden. Now it makes sense.

Ashley's pov

I finished my makeup giving it a bit of a smokey eye. I curled my hair and it looks so fucking pretty. I went into my closet and put on my dress. Turing around towards the mirror and admiring my body in my dress. After a few minutes of just admiring my body I walked out the closet where Amelie was. I have another mirror in my room and she was facing that one. I moved into the mirror view and she looked at me.

Amelie:oh my god you look so pretty

Ashley:and you look beautiful

Amelie:nah scratch that off we look sexy

Ashley:you got that right

I put on my heals and as I was grabbing my mask I heard a knock at the door. It was bearly about to be 6:30 so who knows if people are arriving yet. Amelie was done changing so she opened the door for me and I heard his voice. Got me excited that's all I can tell you.

Tayler:may I come in?

Amelie:yeah of course

Tayler:thanks

Amelie:ash I'll be downstairs with Blake

Ashley:okay

Tayler walked in and Amelie walked out. I turned around as I was fixing my hair in the mirror. To see my extremely hot boyfriend in a blue tuxedo.

Tayler:wow you look so fucking sexy

Ashley:so do you

I walked up to him and kissed him. I fucking want him right now just looking at him in this tuxedo but I can't. We have a party to attend and if I don't show up then they will know where I'm at. I let go of the kiss and his spins me around.

Tayler:people are already arriving

Ashley:I guess we shall go down

Tayler:I suppose so birthday day girl happy birthday baby

Ashley:thank you but I have to put on my mask and so do you

Tayler:then let me help you

I gave him my mask and he helped me fix it from the back. I wasn't about to have a mascarade mask that I had to hold. Instead I bought one with a strap that went around the head. It's just easier to wear. He put his on. Couldn't really tell it was him but he looked sexy. I turned off all the lights and I closed my door locking it with a key which I hid next to some frames and candles I had on a self next to my door.

As Tayler and I were walking down the stairs mostly everyone was here already. When we got to the bottom the door opened and I can't believe I saw him. I was honestly surprised and he looked really good. Reminded me of that time we went to a friend's birthday party and how good he looked in all black that day. But he was with a girl and I shouldn't have worried or even cared but I did. Jaden was with a girl and your probably wondering how I noticed it was him well I guess it's just a coincidence.

We met eyes but I looked away and I looked at Tayler and gave him a smile. Tayler went to go grab us a drink and Bryce walked behind Jaden as they had entered. Bryce walked my way which confused me on why he did.

Bryce: can I talk to you?

Ashley: um sure

We moved away from the stairs and we walked outside. There was noise from all the talking and a bit of music playing but we were able to hear each other.

Bryce: first I wanted to say happy birthday and that I brought beer since your underage but the main reason I wanted to talk is to say I'm sorry

Ashley: ok well I'm surprised we're talking but I want to say I'm sorry like really fucking sorry for not tell you about me moving and you having to find out through Josh and Anthony your like a brother to me Bryce and I shouldn't have kept this from you so I'm so sorry

Bryce:not it's okay because I forgive you seeing you happy and having a house with your brother is amazing and I shouldn't have been a douse bag about it and have through your stuff out

Ashley: yeah that was pretty fucked up

Bryce: either way I know we both fucked up but I'm passed that so friend's again

Ashley: best friends

We hugged I'm honestly shocked by all of this but I missed Bryce. Him being mad at me just made me sad because he like my brother. He knows he did wrong for reacting like that but who could blame him you know. I'm jut glad we made up.
