Traveller

I knew you
A time before you left
You came to my life
Like a stranger
Taking shelter from the rain
We got to know eachother
Little and in depth
Poured my heart to you
Never blunted for a second
You came & boated my train
I thought for a long haul you will stay
But my dreams of us were in vain
As you were just a traveller instead
We came so close
Friends or more so
Knitted you in my future
With out judging why.
I should have know better
Somedays been angry or sad
But it's time I stop chasing
When i know you will get of the next station.
Had questioned myself
Why do people leave me by myself
I am I too wrong to be loved?
But I forgot at times
That I am enough
And their destination is not same as mine.
Time time to stop chasing
Stopped following and begging
Lead my life train to the path I want.
Cause for are mere passengers
Some passing travellers.
Need us when they were broken or sad
Just like we needed then for a phase of time
They came like lessons to learn
Or to grow and laugh.
Good or bad, they were a part of my life
I drive my train
Not worrying who will board my station
Cause I know now,
The one for the long run
Will have the same destination as mine.
Be at peace,
Love what you have been
Accept yourself
To make your own path.
It's never too late.
Cause we know that
Even if they leave
We carry a souvenir of their memories
Till then let's ride till the end
Welcoming a new traveller boarding our train.
