I don't know if it's real
I can't tell if it's real
The raw emotions between two people
Who feel every emotion towards eachother
Who would rather be with that person more than anything in the world
That's what I thought it was
That's what I thought it would
Look like
Growing up not seeing what you thought
Love was
It Makes you question
Every action of every
Boy
Every man
To step in your life
Hiding behind a charming smile
There's a monster
A beast who wants nothing
More than to inflict pain
Drain your power and will
So what I thought that beautiful picture was
Was actually just paint splatter in
Multiple different directions
No passion
No emotion to paint that pretty

I thought love was
The beauty of it but now i don't know
It could be the destruction...
