You would think
All shower thoughts are the same
They aren't
Warmth is comforting
Cold stings
Every drop of water stings your skin
Shocking all of your nerves
It makes you shiver
It makes you think
It makes your mind go blank
Thoughts of your inner child
Not the one you tell everyone to no one you have
The one you keep locked away only for you to visit
Whilst in a cold shower
The one that creeps up on you and breaks what you thought you fixed
The other soul pieces
You have placed im that one dark corner
You wouldn't dare allow anyone to go
The once beautiful soul shattered placed neatly in a box in that dark corner
Locked in a high security safe
That shocked nerves open without a struggle
A cold shower
Shocking your body
Unlocking forbidden doors
Walking into your closet of skeletons
Letting all the cells in your mind prison
Open allowing every wrong
Every doubt
Every insecurity
Every soul shattering moment
Hit like a tittle wave
It's now 3am
Time flew by
The stingy pain became
Numbing...
Comforting?
No longer knives digging into your skin
But a hard hail rain
Turning your life upside down
All in the matter of seconds
You have stood there in this
Numbing rain
For two hours
Reliving
Everything
Tears can't fall
Your eyes sting
Salt rubbed into your wounds
A burning sensation racks through
My body
My nerves
Every cell is hit
Amd shutting down
Colateral damage
That's who everyone who has tried to help turn into
Getting hurt by these fits of rage
Shattering every image every
Thought they had of me
No I am not happy
No I am not perfect
No I am not...
I am
I am numb
No feelings
No problem
Problem fixed
All because of
The cold shower
