In the midst of destruction

In the middle I reside
I cry
I breathe
I live in the midst of it all
For home is nowhere
And it disappears
Disappointment is a parting gift
Oh it burns and sours you
And I have learned to take the destructive feature and turn it
Into a manifesto of petty dreams
Knees to my chest head tucked safely between my arms
Outside the ruins in which spin around like a hurricane
I crash then reconstruct
All in the midst of it all
The doubt
The hurt
The aching
All break then reconstruct
To my minds fantasy like whims in which replicate reality
The replies are different
Less yes's and more no's
Less noise more silly silence
Less of humanity more of immunity
To more and more to less
I may understand what others do not
Whilst others feel what I cannot
A petty lie makes it less noticeable
For what I cannot feel
Rather than what I don't want to feel
It is a choice
To reiterate your own request of reason
Or to be in the midst making reason
