"Are you sure you don't want me to go with you?" Orville asked as he leaned over the desk, watching as Parro got all of his things together so he could leave for his trip. "I mean, if you want me to go, I'm sure Kass would be perfectly fine with his Uncle Eagle."

"I'll be alright, Orville. Really, I'm actually starting to believe you only want to go to because you're jealous of my position." Parro snickered, heaving his bag over his shoulder.

"No! Of course I'm not! I just like to make sure my best friend is safe, and having fun! If I were so jealous of you, I'd have already gone and gotten the position long ago." Parro laughed with Orville's statement, but then stopped when he heard Eagle clear his throat behind him. "Oh! Eagle, I'm sorry, when I said best friend, I meant one of. One of my best friends." The red rito smiled, but the stern look on Eagle's face remained.

"Parro, I'm going to need you to cancel your trip." He said, and Parro tilted his head, looking between his and the other confused bird across the room. "It's Esther. She has Amalia and Kai." They both gasped.

"H-How?! I thought we got rid of her!" Parro yelled, dropping his bag. Eagle sighed and shook his head. "What does she want with them anyways? We're the ones who go to rescue them, and they want nothing with us!"

"I don't know yet. But, I'm beginning to have suspicions, and if they're correct..." He looked down at his feet. "They may already have another prophet. I'm starting to think that Esther believes Amalia and Kai could hold the powers of their parents."

"Well they can't, right?" Parro asked, grabbing his bow as Orville began putting on his armor. "Revali's ability to wield the Wind Scroll was learned, and so was _____'s ability for the rest of the scrolls. And we agreed a long time ago that _____'s other power wasn't inheritable."

"Exactly. Esther doesn't understand that they aren't some powerful descendants of the Champions, they're just normal kids." He turned to leave the room. "Meet us at Wabbler's Nest. We're taking off from there."

"Alright. Talk." Esther pulled a chair out and sat down across from the two little ritos, who were chained up and silent. "If you tell me about your secret power, I won't say anything, and you'll be free to go." Silence. She looked at Kai. "Kai, sweetheart?"

Kai made a face before sticking his toungue out and spitting at her. Amalia burst out laughing, and Esther sighed and folded her arms. The two high fived each other, and then the woman across from them only leaned more over the table.

"Listen. I know what it's like to have a sibling you care about, trust me. I have a younger brother myself. But when push comes to shove, you can't always be there for each other. And, sometimes, it's better when you're not." She said, finally leaning back as she continued to stare down the children. They were quiet for a moment, exchanging glances with each other.

"You mean like how you weren't there for your brother when Eagle and Orville beat him up? Yeah, that was so much better for him!" Amalia sneered, earning a laugh out of Kai. Esther grunted.

"You know, you're pretty strong for a lady, Essy. I'm sure if the two of you worked together, you'd surely be able to defend yourselves a bit better!" Kai complimented, and his sister nodded and agreed.

"I'm sure you're right, Kai." Ess crossed her legs, glancing at the door where the guards waited- all dressed in the special armor he had designed for the newer age.

"Well, you'd be fine so long as the Champions didn't come back. I don't think you guys would be able to take on our parents for any length of time. You couldn't even leave a scratch on my mom if you tried!" Amalia giggled.
