The Knight and Princess

You're not a boy? (~1~)

Ella's pov

I just turned 15 not too long ago, but since I'm a princess and I'd turn 15 I get to determine who would be protecting me for the rest of my life and marrying me. It would just be a bunch of random boys that caught my father's eye.

''Are you ready'' my sister, Angel beamed while wearing a stunning blue dress that went down to her feet and showed her curves beautifully. She's truly pretty and has the boys wrapped around her finger.

''I'm very ready indeed Angel, I wonder which strong boy shall protect me'' I say while flexing my skinny arms which had freckles all over them which made my sister giggle at my silly antics. ''Act lady like girls''My mother said while standing tall.

Once we walked into a ring that was in the castle that would have the boys perform challenges, hard challenges. We sat up front to see many boys, but one stood out. They weren't a boy, they were a..girl, I've never seen a girl here.

''A girl, what is a girl doing here'' My mother scoffed while gripping the railing that was in front of us. I admire the girl's look, her body made me slightly blush, and her hair was tied up in a tight ponytail. 

''I've heard many great things about her, so let us just watch'' My father said while scooting to the edge of his seat. ''The first challenge is running, a race to be exact so everyone lines up on the line'' the person that ran the whole ''who shall be the princess protector'' said.

Once everyone was lined up on the line, all the boys were whispering about how a girl is fighting to take a man's place. The girl looked up at me and I smiled before I waved and she smirked. ''catching feelings''Angel laughed while nudging my shoulder..'' shut up Angel!!''I whisper loudly while nudging her back hard.

''3,2,1, GO!!'' the man who ran the ''who shall be the princesses protector'' yelled and everyone started running. The girl was in front of all the boys, which made one of the boys try to push her with his arm, making her start running even faster. 

''How is she in the lead'' My mother hissed while her eyes slowly widened which made my father chuckle to himself, ''she's just a fast one my dear'' my father answered while smiling to himself. The way her arms would be shown since she was wearing a white tank top. 

Once she passed the finished line before the boys, they caught up with her, the instructor started writing things down. ''For our next challenge, we will be doing hand-to-hand combat so everyone pair up'' the instructor demanded while every boy got with another boy which left the girl alone.

''you can be in Jacob Richards and Kaden Duke's group'' the instructor spoke while walking off. The boys scoffed, but still had no choice but to take the girl into their team. ''You'll be fighting your partner, but for Jacob's team, y'all may take turns'' the instructor said while smiling a little bit.

''Let me beat her ass so she can go''Jacob whispered to Kaden before walking up to the girl and smirking. ''Show me you're- AGH''Jacob was now being held in a chock hold by the girl..''If you're going to bark..make sure you can bite'' the girl whispered into Jacob's ear before pinning him to the floor.

''Goodness, she's amazingly strong''Angel gasped while her green eyes widened and her pink lips were in a smile. I agreed with a nod while looking at the girl.  I saw the girl look up at Kaden who was twice her size, yet she still tackled him to the ground with great ease. 

''AGH''Kaden yelled out while the girl put her knee onto Kaden's chest before pressing down on it. She kept going until she was pulled off by Jacob and thrown to the ground. He started choking her, but she wrapped her legs around Jacob and flipped him on his stomach while twisting his arm back.

''WHAT THE HELL MAN'' Jacob yelled, but it was muffled since his face was in the dirt because the girl's foot was on his head. ''Ahh looks like we have a winner on Jacob's team, excellent job Brook'' the instructor said with a smile. 

Brook slowly took her foot off Jacob which caused him to start crying in defeat and Kaden gripped his foot assuming he may have twisted it. ''Holy cow, did she win against Kaden Dukes''My mother gasped. 

''The last one is sword fighting, but it's a plastic sword since I don't want anyone to die'' the instructor muttered before giving everyone a plastic sword. Every boy went until they lost and the other one won. For example, if I would win against my sister she would be kicked out and I would fight others until I lost.

And that's what happen until it was Brook and Jacob in the ring. ''This will determine who will be protecting princess Ella'' the instructor said while pointing up at me, I smiled and Jacob and Brook waved.

''You may start'' the instructor said while walking off. Brook looked at Jacob before sprinting onto the walls and circling him quickly. ''Wow'' was the only thing I could whisper while Jacob kept spinning around until he start closing his eyes.

''ARE YOU TOO SCARED TO FIGHT ME, HUH BROOK''Jacob yelled while gripping his sword. I saw Brooks jump off the wall and was about to kick Jacob right in the face before Jacob grabbed her leg and swung her into the wall. 

''GO JACOB'' Kaden yelled while smirking at me. ''GO BROOK GO'' I yelled while hopping out of my chair while waving my hands in the air. She looked up at me with a bloody nose before gripping her plastic sword and running towards Jacob. 

Brook quickly kicked Jacob in his shin before punching him in his nose and pretending to put the plastic sword in his heart. ''JACOB GET UP'' Kaden yelled while I smiled widely and sat down clapping my hands.

The instructor walked toward them both and lifted Brooks's arm...
