Winning or losing, I'll still love you (~10~)

Ella's pov

I saw men running out of places, shooting like there's no tomorrow.  I would grab both Kaden and Jacob's hands before running behind a building. I saw the army who was with us fighting against the army that was our enemy. 

I hurried and got up before covering my ear, running off somewhere with Kaden and Jacob behind. ''H-Holy fuck, what is going on'' Jacob asked while some dust and small rocks fell onto us.

''I-I don't fucking know Jacob'' I hissed while we all ran into the castle, but I saw my father bleeding from his stomach and my mother was nowhere to be seen. I ran over to him and started crying, but he placed his hand on my cheek and smiled.

''don't cry at a time like this, my time would come.  Just go save people, help them before it's too late'' My father whispered while blood dripped from his mouth. I always wonder why my father was so kind, some people see him as a cocky bastard who can just get women easily. But my father is the sweetest king I know...every poor loves him.

''Dad, please don't leave me... don't leave me with mother'' I hissed while tears fell from my eyes, but my father chuckled before pulling my face down and kissing my cheek.

''Y-You need to be strong for your mother and sister, you're a pretty girl, and please get with Brook...it seems like she hasn't told you yet. If you win or lose...I'll forever love you'' My father said while smiling and I softly blushed when he mentioned Brook. He rubbed my back before his hand dropped to his side.

''D-Dad...father...daddy (don't sexualize that)'' I whispered while Jacob pulled me back when he saw some of a building falling, crashing my father which made me scream and cry harder. I grabbed a sword from one of the soldiers. 

I held my stomach before walking toward the man that put Brook in jail, I was about to stab him before I heard a gunshot and he fell backward. I could barely see who shot him, but once the smoke faded I saw Brook holding a gun with blood dripping from her head.

I walked toward her before switching our weapons before Jacob and Kaden held to rocks and dirt. ''This is some bullshit'' Kaden hissed while we all back up into each other which made me softly smile.

We saw the enemies walking toward us with swords which made Brook run towards a man and slashed his neck making him choke on his blood. I started shooting men while Kaden and Jacob threw the rocks and dirt.

They started falling quickly, some yelling other words in another language. Once the men had fallen, I dropped my sword and fell to my knees before crying. I felt Brook hold me close and rubbed my back while Kaden and Jacob rubbed my shoulder.

I saw my sister running toward me and she tightly wrapped her arms around my body before also breaking out in tears.

"I-I'm sorry to break the sad mood, but won't you be getting the crown then since your father died'' Jacob asked me which made me shrug. ''Yes, she will be getting the crown...in a year though'' Angel said while rubbing my back. 

''M-My room, the castle,... everything is gone'' I hissed

''Y-You can come to my place... my mother got too many guest rooms'' Jacob said with a soft chuckle before he helped me up and Brook grabbed my hand.

''My girlfriend has a place, so I'll go find her'' Angel said before hugging me and running off. I nodded before going into the castle with Brook, getting clothes that were still there.

We rode a horse to Jacob's house, but I was with Brook and Jacob was with Kaden. It was a quiet ride, but once we got to Jacob's house we tied the horses up and went inside.

''Goodness, you all look so terrible'' Jacob's mother said with a gasp following. I sighed before she took me into a bathroom, doing the same for the others.

Once we got all cleaned up and bandaged up, we went to bed since we all felt weak and distraught. I crawled into a bed before feeling a pair of arms wrap around my waist so softly, so I turned over and saw Brook looking at me which made me giggle.

''I heard you liked me''I say with a soft giggle and Brook nodded

''Well, I won't deny it...so yeah I do'' Brook mutters while putting her face into my neck. I softly smiled before wrapping my arms around her.

''So will you be my girlfriend'' Brook asked and I gasped

''Of course, I would, I would love to be yours''I say with a smirk on my face and Brook chuckled before kissing me which made my nose scrunch up.

''Nighty Night''I whispered

''Night'' Brook mutters
