The Knight and Princess

All eye on me (~3~)

Brook's pov

I started packing my clothes and sitting at the table, eating breakfast. Liam was playing with his toys while making airplane noises. My father was outside fixing something while my mother was looking at my father. We heard a knock so my mother opened it to see Ella's mother.

''Good morning'' my mother said while putting her hand out to shake the queen's hand, but the queen looked at it and rolled her eyes before taking it. 

''Good morning, where's Brook''Queen Kate said while looking over my mother's shoulder to see me staring at her so I got up and hugged my little brother. My father was walking into the house and I could feel the tense feeling between the 3 adults so I kissed my father's cheek and mother's before following the queen.

Once I got in the carriage, I gave Ella the flowers she had forgotten and I saw her eyes shine. 

''T-Thank you..kinda forgot about them''Ella chuckled while taking them and holding them close to her body while smiling. I sighed before looking around the carriage to see another girl sitting beside King Alec.

''What's your name'' I heard the girl ask

''Brook''I mutter while smiling softly before looking at my feet while she asked me another question. ''Cool... I'm Angel, how old are you'' Angel asked while looking at me. 

''16''I mutter, but I felt Ella's head on my shoulder which made my heart flutter a bit. I tried to brush it off since I just met her yesterday, but my heart wouldn't stop fluttering. I looked down to see her sleeping which made me sigh and look at Queen Kate who had an angry look on her face. 

The ride was a bit long to the village, but we got there. I saw people standing by talking, whispering, pointing, and even playing instruments. ''Don't mind the people staring when you get out of the carriage, they're just not used to seeing a girl'' Angel stated while getting out first and waving which I heard people saying ''oh'' and ''awe''. 

King Alec got out and when I tell you I heard so many squealing and many other weird noises which made me cringe. Queen Kate got out and it sounded the same as Angel's, but that's when I had to get out and Ella.

''Put a pretty smile on'' Ella muttered while grabbing my hand and pulling me out of the carriage while waving to the crowd. I mumbled some words under my breath before waving a bit, but it went silent and all eyes were on me when I looked up and everyone saw that I was a girl. Well not all the way silent, I heard someone's voice in the crowd.

''GO ELLA AND BROOK" I heard while looking over into the crowd to see Jacob on Kaden's shoulders, but it was Kadening doing the yelling and Jacob was just blushing heavily. Ella and I giggled before heading into the castle.

''Ella will be taking you to your room, welcome''King Alec says while taking off his crown and putting it down on something. Ella grabbed my hand and brought me to a room. It had a queen-sized bed and it had other decorations around the room.

''T-This is the guest room..right beside mine which is on the left and Angel's is on the right'' Ella explained before gripping my hand once more and giving me a tour around the house. We stopped at a garden that had a fountain in the middle and lots of flowers, different flowers.

Ella was still holding my hand before we sat on a bench and she let it go. ''I thought you said your garden was poor-looking 'I mutter and Ella shook her head ''no''.

''The field we went to was scattered out and blossomed with many different flowers while our's is just like any kind of rich people garden'' Ella sighed while looking at me. I smirked while sighing.

''Why did your parents have 2 girls..if they could've picked Angel to pick a knight in shining armor'' I ask

''Are you saying I'm a mistake'' Ella gasped while getting close to my face

''w-what no''I say and Ella started to giggle and punched my arm a bit. ''It was a joke, but Angel, she's lesbian, and when it was her turn to pick she ran off so many times with her girlfriend that my parents made me''Ella said while I cracked my knuckles.

''Ew~~" Ella groaned while looking away which made me pop them even more in her face. ''It's a cool noise once you get used to it'' I say while smiling to myself before looking at the ground.

''Would we ever get married''I asked Ella as she then looked me in the eye with a shocked face.''Um of course..you're cool and your parents seem sweet''Ella said while gripping my hands again.

I nodded before smiling softly and I looked up to see Jacob and Kaden watching. ''g-get down''Jacob loudly whisper which was too late since I'd already seen him. 

''seriously you two..get a life''Ella says while throwing a rock at the bush they were in which I heard no sound after. Kaden and Jacob walked out before standing in front of me and putting their hands out.

''All eyes were on you when you got out that carrige''Kaden beamed while shaking my hand

''Should've been me''Jacob hisses while shaking my hand and balling up his fist. ''WE TALKED ABOUT THIS" Kaden yelled while hitting Jacob in the back of the head and looking at me with a soft smirk.
