Brook pov

I would have woken up a bit late which makes me groan and take my hair out of my face before getting out of bed. I walked towards my room and put on a tank top, shorts, and some boots before walking outside.

''Why would Ella leave, she's the only one I like here''I whispered before turning a corner and seeing Ella talking to a guy. He had a perfect body, perfect eyes, perfect hair, perfect everything. I would groan before looking at my reflection in some water which was in a water fountain.

''Hello Brook''Ella says with a smile and I nod before waving..''Good morning'' The boy said while sticking his hand out..his smile makes me wanna bash his face in.

''Morning''I mumbled while shaking his hand and he gripped my hand tightly before letting go which makes me mumble words under my breath.

''Oh my..this is Rory, he came to visit'' Ella says with a smile and Rory had a soft smirk on his face which makes me nod.

''T-That's cool''I whispered 

''You should be more welcoming, don't you think'' Rory asks while smiling and tilting his head to the side which makes me glare at him..''I don't live here'' I hissed before walking off. I walked back into the castle and sat on my bed..'' Asshole'' I hissed while kicking my backpack down and sighing.

There was a mirror in front of my bed. I looked at myself and pulled at my hair, it was long. But I wanted it to be like Rory's so Ella could look at me the same. I grabbed scissors and started cutting my hair. 

Now my hair is short, somewhat long in the back but hanging over my eyes. I would look in the mirror before dropping the scissors and groaning..seeing the hair on the floor.

''Knock Knock''I heard King Alec says while tapping on my door with a smile. I looked at him before sighing and looking away from him, but not to be disrespectful of course. He chuckled a bit before sitting beside me and laying down..'' What's wrong'' He asked me and I shrugged.

''I don't know'' I whispered and he sighed

''Well it seems it's affecting you, so it must be something'' King Alec says while smiling softly, his smile looking so charming and kind. I looked at him before looking away..''D-Do you think  Ella likes someone'' I ask him and he softly laughed.

''I don't know Brook, but it may be you and you're in here wasting your time. That's how you lose people, sitting in a room, by yourself, waiting for them to come. If you think like that, you'll never find anyone'' He says before raising and looking at me..''But it wouldn't hurt to ask her''He says before smiling and calling a maid to clean up my hair

''Please don't lay in your sadness, Brook. You're a very pretty girl'' He says before walking off. I rolled my eyes before getting up and looking out the window to see Rory and Ella still talking...'' Fucker'' I hissed while Rory looked up at me and smiled.

I felt more eyes on me and heard a low scoff which makes me turn around to see Queen Kate and she rolled her eyes...''You should just give up, Ella and Rory are getting married...I don't want her to be with anybody...a girl at that, a boy would be better'' Queen Kate says while smirking and walking off.

I looked at my bed before crawling into it and closing my eyes...falling asleep.
