Brook's pov

I would be at the ring shop, attempting to look for a ring for Ella. I was trying to aim for something that had pink in it since Ella's favorite color is pink.

''This is the ring we have, it's a pink sapphire ring...quite expensive, but it shouldn't matter when you buy it for the majesty'' the jeweler said with a smile on his face which made me nod.

''Yeah...I would like the ring'' I say with a soft smile on my face and the jeweler's eyes widen and he tilted his head.

''Wait you're going to marry the queen'' The jeweler asked which made me nod and sigh

''O-Oh'' the jeweler says before handing me the ring and sighing. I took the ring after paying for it and started walking home before I saw someone running right into me which makes me grunt and they looked up at me.

''THERE'S INTRUDERS" They yelled while running off which makes me hurry home seeing my friend, Darin getting into his armor. I placed the ring in my pocket after putting the armor on. 

''I-I'm going to check on Val and Ella'' I say before seeing Ella and Val running towards me and hugging me which makes me sigh before smiling..'' I-I'll be fine...just stay together and safe'' I say before kissing Ella's lips and Val's forehead.

I got on a horse and grabbed a sword before riding off into war. I heard bombs, shooting, and screaming. I looked around seeing bodies everywhere and lots of buildings broken and had fallen already.

I sighed before I looked up to see a bunch of rocks coming towards me which makes me jump off my horse, seeing my horse getting smashed. I rubbed my head before looking up above and seeing an enemy looking up at me which makes me shove my sword in between their legs and shoot them in the head.

 I got up with the help of a soldier on my side. I looked around before getting into a sword fight with some guy..'' Puta'' The man said which makes me raise a brow before seeing Darin stab the man in the head.

''He called you a whore in Spanish Brook'' Darin mutters before patting my back and running off, making me walk towards the man and shove my sword right into his cock.

''Hm'' I hummed before looking beside me, seeing someone's face being bashed in...their eyes about to pop out...and their guts were hanging out. I sighed before walking off and that's when I saw worse. 

I saw soldiers mostly on the other sides soldiers on the floor which makes me turn around and I felt a sharp pain go through my leg. ''F-Fuck''I hissed before turning around and seeing a group of men shooting at me.

I started running while holding my leg tightly while hearing missiles go off from behind me. Big explosions, fire, and even dirt flew from the ground behind me. I pulled a sword out of this guy's stomach before turning around and putting it in the air.

I started breathing slowly and I started charging toward the man while they shot their bullets. One hit me right in my stomach, but the rest either scarped me or just missed barely.

Once I got close enough, I jumped on a tank with my left foot before using that left foot and pushing off it. I flew above this guy and stabbed him. I slashed another guy in his stomach and forced my sword upwards, making it cut from his stomach to his face. 

I got shot again, this time in the stomach which makes start coughing up blood, and I fell backward and I heard the 2 men start laughing and talking in Spanish. I heard Ella screaming out my name.

''BROOK BABY GET UP'' she yelled and I saw the men running towards her quickly.

Ella's pov

I looked at the men who were running full speed toward me. I started running back before tripping over something or someone. I looked at my foot to see a man grabbing it..''Let go of me, you BASTARD" I yelled 

I would try to kick them off, but before I knew it the men were on me and started choking me out as if it were nothing. I struggled...was this the end...was I about to die and leave my son and Brook.  I felt tears fall down my face, hitting my lips. Salty, the taste of my tears was salty.

I felt my vision going blurry until I saw Brook putting a sword into the man that was choking me chest and he coughed up blood before falling over while I coughed and kicked the man off me.

''B-Brook''I whispered seeing her bleeding from her leg and her stomach, but she still had that same smirk on her face. I laid Brook's head down on my lap and she looked up at me.

''You smell like a lavender baby'' Brook whispered and I giggled

''Well I didn't want to come out stinking silly' 'I muttered before Brook started coughing harder and blood dripped from her mouth which makes a tear fall from my eyes.

''Don't cry at a moment like this, my love'' Brook mutters before taking out the ring which was covered in blood from her hands, and my eyes widen while she slowly opened it.

''W-Will you marry me'' Brook whispered and I could see her eyes start to lower. I nodded quickly before she slipped the ring on my ring finger, I noticed it was pink.

''I-It's beautiful Brook''I whispered before kissing her lips as soft as I can which made her smile

''I will follow you, my love, to the sun rising and the sun setting...I will forever be there by your side'' Brook whispers softly before kissing my hand and dying in my arms 

''B-Brook please'' I sobbed before noticing she was dead and that's when I broke down in tears.

Of all people, Brook left me..damn
