Ninjago: One in the Woods

[Lloyd's pov]

I walked through the woods. Everything was mostly silent. Though I was still on edge, it felt like there was someone or something watching me, it felt good to be alone and outside for a change. The trees grew tall in this area and the undergrowth covered the forest floor. Suddenly there was the sound of movement in the trees above.

I whipped around. Nothing. This was strange. Had I been hearing things? I turned back around and took one step before I heard it again. Before I could look up, a figure appeared dangling from her legs upside down an inch from my face. I was startled by this (not only that she didn't hit me in the face) and jerked backward.

The person laughed; it sounded almost child-like. Squeaky but not quiet. I just starred at her in bewilderment.

"Looks like I scared ya." She said still hanging upside down. Her voice was just as child-like as her laugh, even though she looked about the same age as me. She wore a pink and purple hoodie with jeans ripped up from climbing trees.

After I recovered from being startled, I finally said, "Well you jumped out of nowhere and I don't know who you are so, yeah, that would scare a lot a people at least a bit."

The look in her face was strange and sent a chill up my spine, there was something not right about this person.

She jumped down landing on almost all fours except with one of her hands off the ground. She stood up. "I'm Yin. Nice to meet you." She said and put her hand out for me to shake it, the weird thing was how straight her arm was. "Yer the Green Ninja I suppose?"

I nodded still suspicious of the new person. "Why are you here? I thought no one ever came to these woods."

'Yin' was quiet for a moment, "Why are you here?" At that moment it was like her personality flipped; she was cold and her smile disappeared.
