Author's Note:
Before the Chapter starts, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has been voting and giving me such nice comments on my book. It makes me so happy to know y'all are enjoying it and I'm so eager to continue this story with you guys.

True to your word, you and Bill sleep in the same bed for the night. He sleeps closest to the wall while you get to sleep closer to the door. While you do attempt to keep some distance between the two of you, Bill's whining breaks you down enough to condone some cuddling. He wraps his arm around you and pulls you close, leaving you in a warm cocoon of blankets and body heat. It's a little embarrassing but nice so you don't bother to complain.

The next morning, it's like a whole new Bill has appeared in your house. You wake up to lonely bedsheets which internally disappoints you, but it's forgotten just a few minutes later when Bill comes in with breakfast already made for you. He gives you a kiss on the cheek and hands you homemade pancakes, some (F/S) eggs, and a cup of orange juice. He also tells you he finished all your gardening work for the morning and he cleaned the kitchen. You're absolutely giddy with glee.

"What's with the sudden shift in attitude?" You ask Bill this while taking a bite of your breakfast. You point your butter knife accusingly at him. "You're not doing all this just because we're dating now, right?" He chuckles slightly and sits next to you while you eat. "Part of it is that, but also because....You said you think I can be a good person so I want to try doing that." Warmth blossoms in your chest at his words. It seems he really takes whatever you tell him to heart, and you honestly find it rather endearing. "Well, I'm glad you're trying so hard but try not to go over the top all the time, okay? Youll burn out really quickly that way." You pause for a second and then dare to lean over and give him a kiss on the cheek. His face shines with a pink hue. You hate to ruin the good mood that Bill's built up for the morning, but....

"Hey Bill, now that my foot is fixed, that means I'll need to go back to the Mystery Shack and continue helping Ford." You watch the color drain from his face and his happy-go-lucky attitude shifts into a pout. He looks away from you and out the window. He talks with a bit of a huff. "I don't see why you need to go over there. You never even told me why you're helping Ford." You realize with a start that he's right. You have yet to admit to Bill anything about the barrier. You suppose that should change.

You set the breakfast tray off to the side and take Bill's hand in yours gently. His point fades away and he looks at you with interest. You sigh. "You're right, and I'm sorry. If we're going to have a relationship like this then we need to trust each other. I trust you, so I'll tell you." You take in a deep breath, squeezing Bill's hand. He returns the squeeze in kind. "Ford showed me a while ago that there's a hole in the barrier. It's okonly big enough for me to fit an arm through, but if it isn't fixed soon then it'll probably get bigger until..." You shrug, letting the open air finish your last statement.

"Oh." That's the only response you get from Bill but you can tell he's thinking pretty hard on it. "You okay?" You don't know if this sort of information bothers him in some way, but you certainly don't want to see him upset. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine. I see why you didn't tell me before now." He sounds a little down at that and you open your mouth to give him some verbal comfort but then he starts laughing which stops you in your tracks entirely. "Haha! Kinda wish something like that happened while I was trying to take over the world, ya know?" He laughs a bit more and eventually, he has you doing the same. You giggle with him for what feels like hours until you two are breathless on the bed.

You give one last happy sigh as you finally get the giggles out, your stomach aching. "You know, you don't have to stay at the house. You can come with me." You offer to Bill. His eyes brighten like you've just told him he won a million dollars. "Really?!" You would laugh more if your stomach wasn't already hating you for the first time so instead you smile and nod. "Yes, really. You can't come down to the lab but you can hang out with Mabel and Dipper. That way you're just a staircase and elevator away."
