You and Bill spend the better half of the afternoon ironing out your plan. You provide the majority of the ideas since you have a better concept of how this all should work. Of course, Bill puts in his two cents for little plot holes here and there. By the time that it's getting close to dinner, you both feel confident in what exactly you've cooked up.

"You're sure you want to do this now? We can always wait until tomorrow." You offer this to Bill at the very tail end of the conversation. Truth be told, you want it more for yourself just to wrap your head around everything that's happening. Bill smiles and shakes his head. "I'm sure. The sooner, the better." You somehow knew that would be the answer. "Alright, well, let's get going then." You grab a duffel bag before you head out the door.

You and Bill walk side by side towards the shack. You're nauseous. You feel like your stomach is twisting and squeezing everything you ate right into your throat. You're sweating bullets, the back of your neck is soaked with a salty sheen. Your heart has to be going at least 200 beats per minute based on how hard and fast you can feel it beating in your chest. This is all a first for you. Not only are you going to be lying like no tomorrow, you're stealing from Ford. You had never imagined this in all your (Y/A) years of life.

It's too late to turn back as you and Bill make it to the front door of the shack. You have to toss aside all your anxiety and fears lest you give away your plan way too quickly. You take several deep breaths and go through your lines. The heist should only take 10 minutes tops, if all goes well. You just need to get it over with and you'll be scott-free. You open the door.

"Dipper, Mabel, me and Mike are here!" You shout eagerly to the open air of the shack. You hear the trample of footsteps upstairs and Mabel comes rushing down the staircase with her usual bright smile. "Hi guys!" She jumps onto you in a hug, which you accept with a laugh and a smile. She does the same to Bill, which seems to throw him off guard for a moment.

Dipper follows his sister down the stairs at a much slower, casual pace. You're not sure why, but he seems guarded. "Hey." You give Dipper a kind wave. You do know how awkward he can be with people, so you leave him be. "This is so exciting! You guys should start coming over every day so we can hang out!" Mabel bounces on her feet eagerly, clearly wanting to spend all the time in the world with you. "Haha, I'm sure we can manage that but I actually need to chat with Ford and then we're gonna head home since it's late. You can talk to Mike in the meantime though." You push Bill forward as an offering to the ball of energy then move yourself to the elevator.

You take a few seconds to yourself in the elevator to calm your nerves yet again. You've thought through your head over and over again what will happen if Ford finds out what you're doing, and any scenario is not pretty. The elevator dings.

You step through the open doors, and glance around. "Ford?" You call out to the open space, readjusting the bag on your shoulder as you step deeper into his lab. You spot him at one of his desks, hunched over some papers. He looks over to you as you come into his vision and smiles, standing up from his position. "Hello (Y/N), are you feeling better from yesterday?"

"Oh, yeah!" You almost forgot that Ford had witnessed your internal freak out over finding the crystal. "Yeah, the symptoms went away after like 30 minutes so it wasn't that big of a deal. I actually came by to chat with you about that." You set down your bag next to your mini potion table you have set up here in Ford's lab then go over and stand next to him. "Of course. What can I help you with?" He puts his attention completely to you.

"Well, I was thinking about the crystal. I know you had shown me it for an idea you had, but you never finished the thought because I left after feeling sick. You figured I could use it to help make my glue, right?" He stands from his desk and nods. "Yes, I thought maybe what you were missing was some sort of 'magical punch' to help keep the glue together. Of course, I don't normally mess with magical herbs so I could be incorrect…"
