It was afternoon by now and since dawn, Shiva grew more and more fidgety, so restless that the silent room was screaming him of his mistakes, he was so immersed in her question that he did not knew what constructive answer he would give..As the whole family arrived, her masi as usual started cursing him because both of the times she had been in danger because of him now, he had answered her back, as rudely as he can but he remained quiet...and why wouldn't he, somewhere inside him the guilt was already eating him up..he just remained walking back & forth as the family members met the doctor and completed formality and sat waiting for her to regain the conciousness.

Yet again as Raavi came back in her senses...she muttered, "SHIVAA", Dhara who was sitting besides her, holding her hand and slowly brushing her forehead looked at her lovingly & told Krish to call Shiva in, who was roaming in the lobby..as he entered, she felt as if relief seeing him...he came near her...sat on the chair and held her hand...and this time, before she could've asked for, he made her drink water and even cleaned the droplets from the end of her lips. She smiled as he fed her food, and then he too ate..as the family was about to leave the doctor while checking her added that she can get discharge by the next day...& there arose a confusion of where would she go or where should she be taken; and there started a heated argument between Dhara and Mami...and they kept looking at each other, startled.

Though he wanted her to come back, he kept quiet, and she...expecting him to at least for once call her back and she would run there, burning down all the grudges. Thus it was decided that she would be taken to mami's home, though Dhara and whole pandya niwas refrained but eventually agreed in order to avoid chaos around her. They settled on a note that anyone can come to meet her there...as they left, tranquility flooded the room, neither of them spoke but kept stealing glances...they knew this was the last night when they could either start or end..

  Awakening of their selves was

             somehow the need,

     Utmost called but not yet received,

A piece of them broke,

     Or else it wouldn't have been   broken;

  Sometimes distance works,

  Will it this time, thou distance will you?

Even after an utter dispute, he had no idea of what to say of she asked him the same question again, and she will do that...he knew her since childhood and she had the curiosity even more than the cat who had got killed and of course he had no choice but to answer. He avoided the unintentional gazes made by them and looked away...but she stretched her hand a little, to which he immediately went near her...as he accidently put his hand on the bed for support, she gently held his hand...she softly said, "Shiva", and his whole body got stiffened, as if his whole body was paying attention to what she was going to say further...he raised his brows a little and affirmed...she added, "Mai..mai samajhna chahti thi tujhe, pata hai...agar samajh sako toh ek pal kaafi hota hai aur agar na samajh pao toh puri zindagi kam pad jaati hai, pan shayad tujhe kabhi samajh hi nahi paayi....fir bhi ek mauka dene khaatir mere sawal ka jawab dena please...shayad dobi Raavi ussi se samaj jaaye.." she smiled assuring smile, which indeed gave him a little tinge of hope.

The whole night, he spent brushing his hand gently on her forehead, holding her hand in the other hand, as she dozes off; he gently tucked strands of hair behind her ear and kissed her forehead, his lips lingered on her forehead as if he wanted to feel her sleep...she was in utter sleep but her lips carved a little smile. He slept there resting his head on the bed, in a sitting positing, still holding her hand as if it was sign of her feeling secured and him giving her protection.

As she woke up, she found him sleeping...she gently ruffled his head, wondering how they would end up or more precisely, what next awaits to them. He woke and saw her, with little tears which eventually panicked him, so he immediately stood up and fumbling said, "Raavi..kya hua tujhe..tu thik hai...kaha dard horaha hai...bolnaa", to which she gently stretched her hand which went near his chest and she with index finger softly pointed on his heart...and said, "Yahan..". He was dumbfound by the revelation, he just hugged her without giving any thought. The family came and taxi was booked but he was going to come along with her so he helped her stand up and even walked with her as a support, as they reached mami's house...he was just about to say her to come with him to Pandya Niwas if she wanted but before he could utter a word, she instead said, "Nahi Shiva, esa bolke yeh sab mere liye aur mushkil mat bana please...", to which he smiled and replied, "Aur tu kehti hai tu mujhe samajh nai paayi, esa nahi hai....samajh toh mai nahi paaya, na tujhe, na khudko."
