Capability - Wanda Maximoff

》Chapter VI《

A/N: First of all, I don't know, if the stones really work this way, but in this story I'm going with the fact, that Wanda and Piedro are mutants (children of Magneto) and the stones are kind of activators for their powers. I also haven't read the comics so most of the time I stick to the things that happens inside the movies.

78 hours after the rescue / Location classified
P.o.V. Vision

Actually I wasn't prepared for everything. There was one possibility a totally had blocked out. The possibility of absolutely nothing to happen...

After a few seconds of nothing I open my eyes again, looking down to Wanda. I turn around. "Why is nothing happening?" I ask with a bit of panic in my voice. I never thought I would be able to feel so much.

"Vision the stone keeps you alive. I don't think this will work, as long as the stone is your power source." Tony speaks calmly. "Before you can say anything!" His voice is harsh now. „We definitely will not take this stone out off your head! Don't even think about this, this is the dumbest thing we could do. And you aren't programmed to be that stupid. I will not allow to discuss any of this any longer. We will not sacrifice you for something that maybe could work. We don't know what the did to Wanda and the others. Vision you are an android, you need to accept this facts, since when are you so emotional, I think you might need a reboot to clear your mind." Tony sounds really angry now and I am in total shock about his words. „Tony calm down, please. We can discuss this without your yelling." Strange says and look at Tony. „No I'll not calm down! I'm freaking angry. I hate this fucking situation. It's just shit." "Language!" Cap interrupted Tony. "Oh shut up Rogers, I never watch my language and I never will. I hate this situation. You guys really think, I'm glad about this situation? I really want to save Wanda, but I'm just realistic. We don't know if this will work out. We will try to figure out something different. For now Wanda is stable and Piedro too, we have some time at the moment." Tony's voice went from loud at the beginning of his monologue to more and more quiet at the end.

A moment of silence, nobody knew what to say. „What's with the Tesseract?" Thor asks out of nowhere. „It has another infinity stone inside." he continues with his explanation. „You think another stone could maybe work?" Strange ask and had a curious look on his face. „Maybe we don't know much about the stones, but maybe it could work or not?" Thor response sounded more like a question, than an answer. Strange looks over to Wanda. „Would you try to touch another stone?" He says calmly and looks her direct in the eyes. Wanda was quiet for a moment. „Why not? The worst that could happen will happen anyway sooner or later." Her voice sounds broken. And I absolutly hate this. I feel so helpless, useless and a bit hateful. Without Wanda I would never be able to control this feelings. I need her. "Than I will make my way to Asgard to get the Tesseract from my brother, maybe this could..." Suddenly a green light fills the room. „The time-stone." Strange says and all eyes laid on the green floating stone. „I always have it in the necklace." He stops with his explanation and suddenly looks shocked. "That was what the blood had reacted to, not Vision" He said after a few seconds. The stone flys slowly in Wanda's direction. "Vision you should stay back a bit, please" Tony says, and the please shocked me, as much as the other. "I love you." I whisper to Wanda, before a make my way to the others, on the outside of the room.

Stephen guides the stone towards Wanda. She reachs out with her hand and the moment she touches the stone, it shatters into a million pieces, and a green light fills the rooms. I was afraid, but within seconds the stone fixes itself and is flying back into Stranges necklace. The eye of Agamotto. All eyes are on him now. Nobody fully understands, what just had happen, it was so fast. I couldn't process it.

Strange was the first one to move and look after Wanda. I was fully fascinated by the stone. "She is alive!" He says while feeling for her puls. I fly over to her. "Wanda?" No response. "Wanda?" Again no response. "Let her rest Vision, the stones are powerful. Give her body time to get used to the new power" Tony explains, while standing next to me. "She is strong. Stronger than anyone of us, that's what I'm afraid of." He continues.

All of a sudden two high pitched sounds are filling the room. "Peter!" Stephen says, and turns his pager of. Bruce is doing the same thing and a few seconds later they had left the room. Tony followed them shortly after with Pepper, Steve and Furys people.

Clint, Natasha, Thor and I are left in Wanda's room. "Tony is right, touching two infinity stone is nothing you midgardians do often. She could have be dead, but she is breathing. The little magic girl must be really strong for a midgardian, I do not think you have to worry about her Vision. She will handle the massiv power just give her time." Thor speaks calmly, with a hand on my shoulder. Nat and Clint both nodded as I look at them.

"But just in case. I am going to pay a visit on Asgard, to get the Tesseract into our reach. We don't know what's about her brother. Besides it is never a bad thing to have such weapons as the infinity stones under our control and near us. We never know what is about to come someday. They could be useful in wars in the future." Thor says and leaves the room.
