Capability - Wanda Maximoff

》 Chapter VIII 《

25 hours after the time stone experiment /Location: classified
P.o.V. Wanda:

„We need to try at least, I do not want to lose my brother!" I didn't notice that I start to scream. Clint take me into a hug. "It's okay Wanda, we will try!" He says with a calm voice and I start crying. 'I can't lose my brother. It worked on me, it have to work on him to!' I thought to myself.

"You calm down a bit and than we can try to save him. But when you are so emotional, you are way to powerful!" Strange says and I haven't even noticed that a red shield made out of my magic is glowing around me. I am startled by my magic and the shield disappears as soon as I calm down a bit. "I'm sorry." I say quietly. "Drink something, eat a bit and than we can look after him." Steve says.
I can see that they are scared by my magic. I nod.

Together with Strange and Clint, Vis and myself make our way towards the kitchen. Good thing, that the others know the way. The new headquarter is very confusing and completely in the underground. Cause there a no real windows and it just feel like it.

„What do you want?" Vision asks out of nowhere. I didn't realized, we had already arrived in the kitchen. „I - I - I just make myself a sandwich, I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm fine." I say. The last few words, more to myself than to the others. I start to make myself a sandwich, nobody says a word. They are scared of me again, but this time, they are scared about my mental and physical health.

I finish my sandwich and Clint hands me a hot chocolate. "When did you make that?" I asks surprised. "Just a few minutes ago. But you were in your own world. What are you thinking about Maximoff?" He asks with a smirk. "Nothing and everything..." I take a sip of the hot chocolate. I actually can not remember what I was thinking about. "Should we go see Pietro now?" Stephen asks. I nod.

We are standing in his room and I'm in total shock. He looks so weak. Nothing like my joyful positiv thinking super-speed twin brother. I need a moment to step into the room. My eyes always on his body. What have they done to you? I see the monitors and hear their sounds. The only indicator that his heart is still beating. I stop next to his bed and take his hand. It is so cold. I squeeze it softly but no response. "Pietro, we will help you. But you need to help us too, if you can hear us fight for us. Fight for me, you sister, I can't live without you. Since the first time we met these people her, you told me that they could be nice people. You never believed Hydra and Ultron, you were always seeing the good things in people. Without you my world would be so dark, please be my light. Pietro, I will wake you up, that might will be hurting you, I don't know. Important is, that you try to touch the green stone. We touched one of theses stones in the past and we can do it again. I did it already and I'm standing here. Now it is your turn don't let me down." I tell him and try to hold back my tears.

I step a few steps back. Take a deep breath. "One moment Strange, than I'm ready" I say between to deep breathes. "Take your time, emotions don't help in this situation and with your powers. We don't want the Scarlet Witch to take over." He smiles softly and stands next to me. I close my eyes for a moment and visualize our plan. "Ready!" I say after that and Strange nods. He frees the stone form inside of this neckless and I try to get into Pietros head.

First he blocks me out. His mind is fighting against me. I just realized I was never in his head. I know him so well, that it was never necessary. Am I able to get into his head? I just need to keep trying a bit longer. It really work, suddenly his mind stopped fighting and I saw his memories. Us as kids, mom, dad, our time at hydra and our time with the avengers. I can't be nostalgic now. I need to focus. I try to mind control his body to wake up. It fells like forever, but it is working, he is waking up. Strange guides the stone. But as closer that stone comes, as weaker me magic gets.

I am out of his head, I can't control him any longer. I panic. I want to rush over to Pietro, but Vision and Clint are holding me back. "Touch the stone" I scream, not knowing if he is still awake, cause my eyes are filled with tears and my vision is totally blurry. A green light fills the room and we all got kind of knocked away.

I stand back up, the stone is floating over Strange. I look into Pietros direction, he is still laying in the bed. It looks like nothing had happen, but than I notice a small detail. His arm. His left is hanging of the bed, I know it was on the bed before. Sadly I don't know, if it was because of my mind controlling or caused by his own movement. I walk over to his bed. Nothing has changed at the monitors, his heart is still beating.

"Wanda you needed 24 hours, give theses to him as-well. After that we know more. I will watch him, with Banner, we know what to do. You need to trust us, please." Strange says. I take Pietros hand. "Give me five minutes with him, that we can leave the room and I come back in 24 hours. I promise I will not disturb you." I beg him. He nods. "Of corse Wanda he is your brother. I will not keep you away from him, that wouldn't be fair, but you need to be sure about that everything could happen. Your heart stopped beating a few times, that could happen with Pietro too, be prepared." Stephen says calmly. I nod.

They leave the room and I sit down on the chair next to Pietros bed. "I know you are strong and you will make it..." I says and let the red magic dance around my fingers, till I'm entering inside his head.
