Capability - Wanda Maximoff

》 Chapter XI 《

One Week after Pietro had woken up and all of the avengers are nearly fine again. They moved into a new headquarter yesterday, Location classified obviously, but somewhere not that far away from New York City.

P.o.V. Wanda:

I'm reorganizing things in my new room, it looks so cold at the moment. I want it to feel at least a bit like a home to me. Even if I don't know how long we are going to stay here. I don't know, if I should feel save, but Tony convinced us, that the new headquarter is save.
Also we decided not to do missions alone anymore. Against Ross's and the government's will, Tony and Steve also decided, that we would have full control over our own mission, without others in charge. They even talked about, if we can trust SHIELD and Fury. Turns out, Fury did not liked that conversation and even if he was definitely not invited he found out, about it. That was a long evening.

A few things are flying around in my room, as someone knocks on the door. "Come in." I stop all the things in the air. "But watch your head." I add smiling. Clint enters my room. "Hey, I just wanted to ask, if you want to train with me, Nat, Pietro and Steve? The new training room looks good and need to be used." He looks at me. "But it looks like your busy, thats totally fine too, make yourself comfortable. You guys should slow down." He says with a calm voice. "I'm fine Clint. I come in about five minutes, okay? I just need to place everything again. I think Tony don't like it, when I make my interior fly around" Clint nods. "I don't think so too. See you downstairs in a few." I nod at him with a smile and he leaves the room.

I adjust my powers a bit, to move the things around easier. First I just want to place everything down where is was, but the ideas keep poping up in my head. I move the bed over at least three times, till I'm happy. Some other things I move again even more often.I had totally forgotten about Clint. But suddenly our conversation pops up in my head again. Fuck, I forgot the training, the others will be so mad. I need to hurry, now.
I use my magic to look for some clothes in the box chaos in my room. I change my clothes within seconds and rush out of the room.

Suddenly I walk into someone. I fall on the ground. „Wanda?" Clint looks at me and helps me up. "I'm really sorry, I would have come earlier, but I lost track of time. I'm so sorry..." Clint have a confused look on his face and I stop talking. "I just left your room like a minute ago? You aren't late. What are you talking about?" He asks and now I am confused. "I completely rearrange my room, since you left. That can't be possible." I turn around to my room and open the door. Everything is just the way I left it. Clint looks at my room too. "Looks good, but how? I mean I know you are strong but this is insane." He says. "It felt like at least one hour for me Clint" I say calm.

We decide to think about that later and go to the training room. Pietro is already waiting for us. "F.R.I.D.A.Y. where are Natasha and Steve?" I ask the AI. "They are on their way, to the training room. They should be hear in about five minutes." "Thanks F.R.I.D.A.Y.." I answer to the AI nice as always. "I want to try something, I have a weird feeling." I say to Clint and Pietro. "Please come closer to me." I say and the next second both man stand next to me.

I let my magic flew around. It feels like in my room. I feel a bit more powerful. "Can you guys move?" I ask and both guys walk a few steps away from me. "Yes, what are you doing, little sis?" Pietro asks. "Trying something out. Let's train, I will join in a few minutes."

The two man start their training and warm up first. Pietro is teasing Clint nearly all the time. "Let's go old man. Are you already tired old man. Is that the best you can? I'm even faster in my sleep." Clints seems a bit annoyed by my brother, but he didn't really comment back. Sometimes Pietro is just a big child. "Slow down little speedster." Was the only thing Clint comment back at the end. "Wanna go in the ring?" Pietro asks with a smirk on his face. "Sure, I think, you may learn something there." Clint answers with full confidence. My brother just laughs.

A few minutes later, he's laying on the ground with Clint on top of him. "Got some teasing comments now?" The archer asks. I hold back my laughing. "No" Pietro sounds unhappy and pretty quiet, he doesn't like to be beaten. Suddenly he jumps up, after Clint let go a bit. "Where are Cap and Tasha by the way? F.R.I.D.A.Y. can you give me an update?" He asks very fast. The AI didn't answer. "F.R.I.D.A.Y.?" Pietro asks again. Still no response. "WTF is wrong here?" He sounds pretty nervous now.

"Wait a second." I put down my magic. "Ask again." I tell him. "F.R.I.D.A.Y.?" He asks still nervous. "Yes Mister Maximoff, what can I do for you?" The AI response as normal. He looks at me "Ehhm nothing, I just wanted to check something." He says. "What did you do? Did you shut down Stark AI?" This time Clint is the one asking. "I tell you guys after training, Cap and Nat must be here any second." I say.
The guys decide to keep it that way.

A few seconds later, Steve and Natasha arrives at the training room. "Let's do a warm up." Captain says. "Pietro and I already did that, but Wanda needs it too, so you three can warm up and we start with some shooting." Clint tells him. I start to warm up with them.

Time skip: After training

Training was acutely really great. I still feel small next to all of them, but I'm getting better everyday. I just need to work a bit harder than the other. But on the other hand, no one of them have powers like mine, so maybe I'm not that small. I just finished my shower, as I hear a knock on my door. "Come in." I say and Clint enters the room. We wait a few second and another knock on my door. "Come in." I tell again, this time it was my brother. "So little Sis, what was that in the training room early?" Pietro asks straight ahead. I sign and say quietly. "I think I can control time..."
