You absolutely adored the new pizzeria. There used to be nothing to do, what with it being somewhere that wasn’t exactly the best place to go vacation wise. But that didn’t mean its citizens had to suffer from boredom.
So when a new entertainment-restaurant hybrid popped up in the near middle of town, it caught your attention. “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza,” is what its name was. A simple greasy pizza place, like any other one. Except there was one exception.
The addition of.. Animatronics. Weird, hulking, animal animatronics. You hadn’t gone into the establishment yet, but you had gotten a glimpse of them while walking past, towards the daycare you worked at. Something told you that would change.

You noticed that the kids you watched started to get extremely restless, constantly begging to go to the pizzeria a few buildings over. You were hesitant with the fact that one, you had barely any money to take these kids, and two, you didn’t know if your boss would even allow it.
But enough whining convinced you to ask your boss about it. He explained to you that the daycare itself couldn’t pay for the kids, but to ask for the parents to pay extra to bring them there. From then on, it would be you and another person watching over the kids as they ran around.
After about half a month of coordinating the small half day long field trip, you settled on a date and booked a party room. Once you announced the news to the children, the looks on their cute little faces made you mirror their smiles.
After you collected enough money- with some to spare- from the parents the few days before that day you planned, Friday, you were super excited. For not only the children, but you as well. The animatronics genuinely caught your eye, and maybe you can put those engineering classes you took during highschool to good use.
Another thing you had hoped for was a second job there, if there even were any spots open. You were having trouble paying rent and other bills from the one daycare job, and had needed some help from your parents. More income would be amazing.
Either way, you knew this day would be fun for you and the kids. So when you lined up the kids at the front door to go to the pizzeria, you were concerned when a few of them were.. Scared.
A few of the kids seemed scared. You knew that they had told you they were going the day before and couldn’t wait to go again. But now they were hesitant. They wanted to play with their friends, but they still were wary. This worried you slightly, but what could have gone wrong?
You watched as the kids followed the other daycare attendant, going after the last few kids near the back of the line. After a few minutes of walking, the line turned and the kids filed into the restaurant. You slowly got closer and closer to the doors, which at the time was propped open by the other attendant.
The smell of cheap pizza and joyful screams filled your senses as you went in. You looked around, the bright colors accompanying the cheerful atmosphere nicely. Next, your attention was quickly drawn to the main animatronics. They were waving, mouths opening and closing as laughter emitted from their.. Throats.
You were able to look at them for only a few moments, needing to tend to the group of kids threatening to run off to their own devices. Just a second before you did, however, you caught a glimpse of one of the animatronics looking at you.
A purple bunny.

You sat in the corner of the party room, watching over the kids playing the same way you did in the other building. Just another version of work. You wanted to sneak away for a moment, to explore the place, and to possibly find the owner to ask about a free position.
Looking at your watch, you noticed that it was almost time for one of the animatronics to come in and entertain the kids. Thirty minutes had passed already? Either way, it was a surprise, coordinated by the employees. So you were excited to see who.
You announced that an animatronic was coming soon to the kids, and a lot of them screamed in joy. Some cowered at first, but once they saw their friends happy they too became excited.
A few moments passed, and you saw an employee walk in. A couple of seconds later, one of the animatronics walked in. It was the purple bunny.
In near unison, most of the kids screamed, "Bonnie!" and ran over to it. You cringed at the sound of the screaming children. You were normally used to it, but this time was too much. It was way too loud.
You looked towards the other daycare attendant, nodding your head towards the door to see if you could leave temporarily. They returned a thumbs up, and with that you stood up. You made your way towards the exit, making sure to be careful of the tiny kids.
Before you left, you gave a look of sympathy to the poor animatronic being surrounded. Sure, it wasn't alive, but it sure seemed like it. Especially with how it looked back at you.
As you transitioned from the side party room to the main one, the sounds seemed to get slightly quieter. There were still loud children and music, but due to the size of the room it wasn't as bad. You were planning to take your small window of freedom using the restroom or stepping out of the building, but you were determined to get that second job.
After a few seconds of walking around, you caught up with an exhausted looking employee leaning against the wall. He was very tall. He wore a purple button down similar to the color of the "Bonnie" animatronic, and some black trousers. His brown hair was messy, and glancing at his face you saw bags under his eyes. He was looking at the sea of kids, a slight scowl on his face.
"H-hello!" You greeted, apparently snapping him out of a trance of some sort. He looked at you in silence for a moment.
"..Hi there. Is there something you'd like?" He asked, a British accent prominent.
"Uh- Yes actually.. I was wondering, do you work here? I-If so, can you help me find who.. Owns? Manages? This place so I can apply? I saw the f-for hire sign in the window." You cringed at your stuttering. The man only smirked in amusement.
Pushing himself from his lean, he turned to look at you. "Actually, yes, I do work here. And yes, I can help you. Follow me, I'll bring you to him," he replied, turning on his heel and walking.
"Oh! Thank you so much," you said with glee, following after him quickly. After a couple of moments, the screams of children faded as you were led down a hallway with no children. There were a few doors at the end of the hallway, and the man turned to the one on the right.
"He's right in here." The man opened the door and walked in, you followed after. There was no one else in the room you noticed. The door closed behind you.
"O-oh.. I don't think he's here."
The man chuckled before walking towards the desk in the middle of the room and sitting down. "Just a little bit of a game, love. I actually co-own the place with my good friend, Henry Emily. I'm William, William Afton. Sorry if I made you uneasy just then," he explained, silver eyes looking at you as you felt your face heat up a bit in embarrassment. "Anyways.. You said you were interested in a job?"
