Chapter 8

Ketsueki's POV

The New Mission?

Groaning, I pushed through Malice and Silo, shoving them back with my wings.

"Look, From now on I don't want you wandering around without someone with authority. You can ask to go somewhere. Moon will be here for the time being and please don't leave this building. I have to go. Silo, Malice, Get black bunny to guard the door and meet me at the last door. We have work to do." I quickly stepped back, walking out of the door with the two boys trailing behind me. I turned the corner but stopped. They both stopped too, looking at the basement door. "Bring me, Rose and Kubo, as well." I quickly walked off, hearing the sound of the door opening and closing. Once I made it to the last room I opened it, finding 10 chairs evenly sat out, and at the end of the room sat an elevated podium with two desks next to it. Both had two chairs. I left the door open, hopping over the desk to behind the podium and kneeling down. Just where I'd left it. I stood back up, gripping the sides of the podium, impatiently waiting for the four to arrive.

   A few minutes went by and they all walked in, and took their seats.

"Let's get right into it, Top 6."

Moon's POV

Was It The Right Choice?

  Once the boys had left I shook my head with a sigh. "I'm sorry about them, Keo has just been- I-" I sighed, shaking my head, deciding to say something else. "Do you have any questions?.. em... What was your name?... I'm sorry I didn't catch it before." I scratched the back of my head with a shy smile, sitting down on the bed.

"Hikari, and not any questions at the moment."

There was a moment of silence.

"Is there anything you want to do, we could go out somewhere as they're having a meeting currently?" I asked, trying to subtly convince him to leave the house.

"Sure, but I don't really know any places since I just moved here not too long ago."

"Eh, we'll figure it out. Call Echo for me, I'll get Black bunny and meet you and Echo in the car alright?" I stood up, stretching before looking at him.

"Okay."

   We soon made it into the car. Black Bunny had some issues getting in since he was 6'6 and had never gotten in a car before. But we're soon on the road heading towards a coffee shop for whatever reason that echo had to take us there. The ride was silent, well, Bunny normally never talked but it was still uncomfortable to say the least. We made it to the small place in around 11 minutes. It was a simple place with barely any people, but it seemed humble. We all sat down at a booth. Bunny to my left, Echo in front of me, and Hikari in front of Bunny. The people who worked here gave us some menus. Echo and I got a coffee and Bunny got a glass of milk and oddly Hikari got a tall glass of water. He said that he didn't like coffee because of how bitter tasting it was to him. Once we finished ordering I decided to ask a question. "How about we share our ages? I honestly don't remember either of yours and I don't know yours, Hikari." I smiled kindly while presenting the idea.

"I don't see the issue with it, Echo?" Bunny replied, leaning back in the seat and crossing his arms over his stomach.

"Sure, What about you Hikari?"

"Sure, why not."

"I'll start, Black Bunny, 19."

"Echo, 20."

"Moon, 21."

"Hikari, 16."   

"Wait 16?!" Bunny asked, shocked, sitting up from the seat.

"That's two years!"

"It's his choice, You should be happy for him." Echo said venom and uncertainty laced in her tone. Before the drinks arrived.

We drank the rest of our drinks in silence.

  Once we arrived home the team was waiting outside of the house with full gear on for a mission.

"Keo."

We all got out of the car and stared at the 7 people that were conversing among themselves.

"Keo, what the fuck!" Bunny yelled, stepping in front of us all. He may have the lowest rank in the masked 6, but he was the one who had the firmest grasp on order and security.

"Bunny and Moon, go get ready, we're just heading down to the kid's school." Malice said, walking towards us, glaring at Hikari.

"Keo would prefer if whatever your name is came with us. Echo, get the bigger limo as well." We all quickly nodded, leaving the required positions, Hikari was told to follow Echo to the lot. This was not a good idea and I think we all knew that.
