Chapter 13
Arrow's POV
A Book Of Secrets
"What is- This?" I asked, looking down at the book in my hands. My face was a void of emotions, It didn't make sense. He never told me any of this. He never killed people.
"It's nothing!" He yelled, anger laced in his tone. He had been drunk that night. We both knew he was. He walked over, quickly snatching the book. His eyes were hazy, his hair was a mess and he reeked of alcohol and smoke. this wasn't the Ketsuki I knew.
"You- You said you worked at a bookstore! You never said you- you killed people!" I yelled back, walking backwards.
"I don't! Everything you read was just a book, nothing to do with me." He said back while walking closer.
"You're lying!" I yelled, walking back till I hit the wall. My breath quickened, he was getting closer.
"I'm not!" He yelled, grabbing my neck once he was close enough, he squeezed tightly. I couldn't breathe. I tried to put air inside my lungs but I couldn't. I scratched his arm, flaring my wings.
"I'm no murderer!" He yelled, right before realizing what he was doing. He let go, bright red rings rested on my neck as I struggled to get air back into my lungs.
"You are a killer."
Echo's POV
DEcember 18th
5:00 am
(WARNING: I have no idea how a wedding works. I'm just going off the time I went to one, Please note this is a FAKE wedding.)
"SILENCE!" Malice yelled as he stood in front of the altar. Keo to the left and I to the right. Oh boy, do I regret accepting this position. I rolled my eyes and looked down to my arm, a timer was there. 5:01 am, 19 minutes till the smoke, 24 minutes till the bombs. Im still decetnly curious as to why all of these murderers showed up to a wedding of masked people but you know, still glad they showed up.
Honestly, I forgot how shitty weddings are. It was now 5:08, and I was bored out of my mind. Weddings have never been my thing. I've never been the person to fantasize of taking him or her down the altar and saying our vows and being married.
I never wanted to be stuck in a relationship with the only way out being a bunch of legal shit. Plus, I've never actually loved somebody. It's just a waste of time in my eyes.
As malice went on with whatever he was saying, people began to slowly give him their full attention, and that's what we wanted. It took a while but soon it was 5:18, Finally.
"Ake, do you take Leo to be your lawfully wedded husband?" Malice said rather loudly.
"I don't, I don't take him as my husband." I stood up straighter. I was still short as hell next to him though. Ketsuki pretended to gasp and walk forward with an angered stacher. The smoke then went off. Everything turned a dark gray and barely anything was visible, but people were screaming. A small door opened and we all ran in, and it closed moments after. Stairs were placed in front of us as soon as the door closed and we began running again.
We reached the bottom at 5:23. We did a headcount, but someone was missing.
Ketsuki was missing.
Ketsuki POV
The Wedding 5:21 am
Dark gray smoke surrounded me as I stepped nearer into the mess of people. People ran in different directions as the subtle ticking below them got louder and louder, inching closer to their death as every second went by. They couldn't escape it. Everyone else was transparent to me. The only person I could see was Arrow. My arrow. His neck was adorned with red lines and his eyes were void of color, a pale white with tears falling down his eyes. He was there. It was my arrow.
