The Gate Pt 2

As we continued to follow Dustin to gods know where Eddie's grip never loosened even when my hand began to sweat.

We finally made it to a lake around day fall
"Oh man..."
" you gotta be shitting me"
"I though these woods were familiar" added Eddie removing his hand from mine
"Lovers lake" Robin said looking at Eddie and I with a smile.

We ended up using the boat as Eddie tried convincing me to stay with the Freshmen I gave him a look that said if he made me stay I would get him back so he helped me on.
"Hey hey hey you trying to sink us this thing holds three people tops"
"But you let Y/n on"
"Uhuh stay here with your friends" i butted in with a laugh
"It's better this way"
"Compass" Nancy held out her arm waiting for the freshmen with the cap to place the object in her hand.
"Hey there you go
Steve quickly pushed the boat while jumping on
"You said three not including Y/n" Dustin called
"Sorry"
"Bedtime at nine kiddos" Robin called out which made me giggle a bit
"Miss you guys already" I called with a fake sad smile

We were paddling for quite some time now before Nancy started to stop us "whoa,whoa,whoa slow down"
"Guys slow down" I said while looking at what the compass was doing
It was moving in all directions not stopping

"Guys what happened" I heard through the walkie talkie " uh well Dustin your wonky compass went from wonky to wonky with a capital 'Ahh'" I replied
I started to take my shoes off as-well as Steve like we both had the same idea
"Uh guys what are you doing" Robin question our actions
" someones gotta go down there and check this thing out better if there's two people though" Steve answered
"Be safe Y/n I don't wanna have to go down there and save your ass"

Steve started to take his shirt of while Robin and I noticed Nancy looking at him in Awe
I decided to keep my shirt on so it was appropriate and the freshmen didn't see.

As I was about to jump Eddie handed us a flashlight with a bag to waterproof the torch
He looked at both of us and said "goodluck" after that he just took out a smoke and as he was about to light it Robin yanked it out of mouth which I found really funny.
"Be careful" Nancy said to Steve

We jumped in the lake. It was cooler then I thought it be. We kept swimming down until we made it to the floor, there was nothing till I looked around and tapped Steve to look in the direction of the red light. We started to swim closer to it though i could feel that I was running out of air. We found it. It was glowing brightly and Steve decided to try and touch it before he saw a tentacle looking thing. I had already started swimming up at the time because I was losing all my air and I couldn't hold it any longer .

I splashed my way up gasping for air. Eddie looked worried but that was ruined by Steve breaking through the water also gasping for air
"You found it?"
"Yea we found it" I answered Nancy
"Dustin you are goddam Einstein, Steve and Y/n found the gate" Robin spoke into the walkie talkie
I felt something rub against my foot and slightly yank me and Steve under. Steve got put back up but I was dragged but a slimy tentacle that led to the red glowing gate I was trying my best to wiggle my way out.
I could hear Eddie and Nancy screaming my name. Then the next thing I saw before getting pulled through the gate was Steve getting yanked by the thing.
