We made it into the woods and hid under skull rock while the birds were still swarming around.
Everyone looked scared I mean we just got attacked but these weird creatures who wouldn't be scared?
" Are you okay" I turned to look at Eddie
" yea I am sweet, are you?" He asked genuinely wanting the answer.
"Yea I think so" I replied not paying attention to all the blood that I was losing.
Eddie tried helping me up but I was in too much pain from the wounds the creatures made on my thigh. I saw that Steve was struggling too as Nancy started to help him.
"I don't think you are okay sweet let me help you..." Eddie said while ripping a part of his shirt off.
"You ready?"
"Mhm"
He quickly applied the bandage around my upper thigh, and I could tell he was trying to be careful but boy did that shit hurt. I winced in pain as he made a knot which meant he was done.
"Thank you" I ended up hugging him
"Anytime my sweet," he said while he kissed me on the forehead.
Robin decided to ruin the moment by going on about rabies to me and Steve and I wasn't even paying attention because I was in that much pain.
I saw Eddie start to climb up on one of the Rocks
"So uh this place is like Hawkins but with monsters and shit?"
"Pretty much" Nancy answered
"Wait watch out for the vines it's all a hive mind"
"All a what ?" I interrupted
"All the creepy crawlies around here dude, they're like one of something, you step on a vine, you step on a bat, you're stepping on Venca"
"Well shit. be careful Eddie please" I watched him carefully making sure he didn't fall. I overheard Robin asking about guns and weapons and I thought it was a great idea.
"Well, we don't have to go all the way downtown for guns... I have guns, in my bedroom" Nancy said
"You, Nancy wheeler have guns plural?" Eddie replied
"In your room?" I finished the sentence off for him
"Full of surprises, isn't she?"
Eddie decided to chuck over his vest to Steve and said "for your modesty, dude."
Then out of nowhere, a massive earthquake started to shake the ground. I fell right on top of Eddie which I enjoyed, but of course, the creatures decided to start to get squealing louder and I think they were getting closer.
"Yea so guns seem like a pretty good idea to me," Eddie said while making me sit up still hugging me partly.
"Yeah me too," I said a little bit out of breath.
"So what are we waiting for?" Steve said as we all got up and we all silently agreed to move to Wheeler's house.
