This time however, I'm not doing Whumptober for Prodigal Son like I did for Whumptober 2021, but for Top Gear / The Grand Tour!
Why? Because I need some whumpy Clarkson, Hammond, and May mess. And there's not much of it out there. And considering Hammond is an accident prone little midget, I think there's some room to write some whump with these three idiots.

Not sure what else to say....
Mix of Top Gear and The Grand Tour era one-shots. And also possibly some AU, cause to be honest, I'm not sure how well I'll be able to fit some of these into like... make it fit in with their irl stuff I guess? Like, they host a car show, so obviously not all of these prompts really fit in with that. There's a lot of prompts in this relating to being kidnapped, and that doesn't entirely work with a car show.
Then again... if they piss off the wrong people.... And they've pissed off a lot of people in their time.... Patagonia Special?
So there'll possibly be some one-shots in this where they're not famous. To be fair though, if they weren't famous, and never started doing what they're doing now, the three of them very likely would have never met (in a world where they never started careers in the motoring journalism industry that is), and would probably not be friends. But it's a damn good thing they did, because then we wouldn't have this brilliant trio.
Basically accident and injury based ones will be rather easy, and I can easily make them work without having to go an AU route. But others may need to go the way of alternate universe.

Also, none of these one-shots will be centred around the dragster crash, simply because of how bad that one was. There'll be mentions and references to it, but nothing directly centred around it. Same goes for the Rimac crash, although that one wasn't nearly as bad, but it could've been so much worse than it was. Although, I have written a couple like, aftermath of the crash, like set months after it happened, but I will not like, write out the actual crash. I just can't and refuse to write that.
Also, I don't think I'll get every single prompt done during October, but I'll try and do as much as I can. Then any I have left over I'll just update whenever, much like the ones from last year.
And these will all vary in length. So... shortest might be 500 words, and the longest might be upwards of 6k+. It all depends on how much I can get written for each prompt, and how much I feel is needed for each prompt. But honestly, I think a lot will be on the shorter side, simply cause of my work schedule, and the fact I do have other fics that I'm working on. Including a couple Kinktober prompts (there might be one or two Top Gear / the Grand Tour one-shots for Kinktober), but those will only be found over on my Ao3 account; @/Candy_Kittens.
